A song has multiple "vibes" as vibes are short for vibrations. Each instrument is creating vibrations on different frequencies, including the vocals. An A note puts out 440hz. The octave higher A puts out 880hz. (Hz is hertz.)

I think this is a later mix than the one on the original album, Jim's voice is less dominant and whilst the individual instruments are clearer the end result is not as impressive. Never has the word bridesmaid ever sounded so evil.
