Nice. I gotta learn this one man. Have you heard the alternative version of this song on the album behind close doors the rarities? Heard it the other day, and I might have to say I like it even better than the original.

Not until now I haven't :) pretty cool. Although I gotta say I'm strongly attached to the album version because it's one of the first Doors songs I ever heard and it just grooves infinitely hard.

Sweet & funky.You captured it perfectly.Don't know who the bassist was for this studio session , cos I doubt Manzarek could manage the growling bottom necessary ,with just his foot pedals.

I think it's all the same bassist on the entire album. I don't remember his name but the playing is amazing. For being technically a session bassist his interplay with John Densmore is tight as hell
