Elvis might’ve been known as the King of Rock & Roll, but no one ever recorded something like this like the Doors. No one has sang anything like this like Jim Morrison. Robby Krieger’s Psychedelic guitar break is totally awesome. This gave new meaning to Psychedelic music with this song because it was taken to another dimensional level. This particular performance took place in 1970 in New York, City. In 1980 I had the 8 Track to this performance. It was entitled, “The Doors Live in New York, City. The Doors were beginning to tour once again in America because they had been banned from many places due to the Miami incident in 1969. This certainly was a great concert and the Doors were back.

@@sallybutton6237 Actually, I can't wait to get away from Earth. I have has a lot of unusual experiences and even though I am an atheist I know that when you die you continue on a different level. People who are not religious and have had Near Death Experiences seem to agree that there is no "hell" as we have been taught for thousands of years in all societies and cultures. They experience unconditional love all around them. I'd rather be there than here. I visited Jim's grave in Paris in 1997 and wrote a note. There were a lot of candles on the grave marker and for some reason tourists from other countries came up to ask me where his grave was located. He died on my birthday.

@@melan- the incident in Miami, Florida in 1969 where he was accused of indecent exposure on that concert on stage. He was accused of exposing his male member on stage. Ray Manzarek tells a different story of that incident he said Jim liked doing theatrics on stage. That it wasn’t his male member that he exposed that when he unzipped his pants that it was his index finger he had shown creating an optical illusion. There was a cop 👮 there on stage and didn’t arrest him immediately at that performance. After the concert 🎵 they took off to Europe to perform out there and they didn’t learn of the incident until after they got back. When they got back that’s when Jim had been arrested. Jim wasn’t convicted of that because the case was pending because Jim left the group in 1970 or 71. He died in 1971 but the court case was still pending and who knows if Jim would’ve gone to prison had he hadn’t died.
