As a synopsis goes? Masterful! Intriguing, informative, puts the hooks in, sets the scene, and doesn’t blow the damn plot in the process!

The great JCW Brook who wrote a number of weird/supernatural radio plays in the 1970’s and early 1980’s for the BBC Radio 4. Little is known about him. His plays like doppelgänger , a dream of murder and jonas have all similar themes. There are usually two main couples involved, with a dominant overbearing husband and a submissive wife as one couple. A male or female character is a vociferous sceptic when confronted with supernatural evidence. They are all strange, nonsensical and wonderful to listen to.

Jonas is one of my all time favourite plays please listen if u haven't. This is a good one.

This was the most confusing story I listened to. It was so nerve wracking in the beginning with nothing but arguing and confusing middle and finally the end which was hard to follow. I listened twice to try and make sense of it . This is the only one I haven’t enjoyed. The rest have been great so far.

Ooh strange and creepy, but I thought the acting was good, I just didn't understand the very end as it seemed to contradict the explanation given just before?!!🤔
