In this video we look at a new, 2 seater eVTOL, namely the Doroni H1X. It is unique because it uses ducted fans. None of the other EVTOL market i.e the Air One, Skyfly Axe, X Peng X2 use ducted fans.

40 minute flight time indicates the H1X is pretty inefficient in forward flight. Compare to the 2+ hours of the Pyka Pelican 1320lb LSA class cargo ctol. Granted one is a ctol with weight benefits, but could it be the forward facing edfs have less thrust to power than open props? Not to mention the longer design and engineering validation and time to market to prove out safety and reliability.

Apologies if the video makes it obvious however I’m a blind subscriber how do ducted fans differ from ducted propellers or are they the same Thanks Cheers 0:32

Step 1) Throw together a Solidworks/ Blender model with semi-random futuristic features because game-changer. Step 2) Take screenshots, make PowerPoint. Do it all minimalist and lowercase because Steve Jobs. Step 3) Pitch to VC techbros and trust fund babies that don't know what they're looking at. Step 4) Tweet major airline, get email response from PR department saying 'Cute! Come back when you have a fully type certified working product that does everything you say it will and maybe we'll talk'. Airline gets a brief share price bump off the back of a couple of renders and clickbait articles, you get your "CONFIRMED ORDERS" press release. Step 5) Reddit AMA Step 6) SPAC merger Step 7) You cash out Step 8) 99.9% share price drop

I think soon the whole concept will be testable modifiable on an AI physics system and all its characteristics will be know pre any production

Another piece of vaporware that will have less range than a bicycle 🤣

🔶🔶🔶Electric aviation will never be able to compete with engine powered vehicles.‼ We have several ultra-efficient, quiet, POLLUTION-FREE rotary engines with specific power & energy in the turbine range that we'll be bringing out. 🎩, . .

This is a design for omnidirectional duck propellers 🤦🏻♂️ Not just the proficiency but the noise reduction and safety.

Bad design. Flat lift surfaces but no articulated fan. Huge dragging legs. These are not ducted fans but safety cage. A detaching passenger cabin with ballistic chute would be the best safety solution.

This will be one of the many companies that fall to the wayside as the sector advances. There were many such companies during the birth of the motor vehicle. Too much wasted weight to be carried around during other phases of flight

I designed this kind of childish toys when I was six years old. That was 65 years ago... You've got to be kidding!
