So what you're creating between two black holes is a Lagrange point where gravitation between two (or more) sources equals out. If you want to do it with 3 you'd have to do a triangle (which you should totally try) so that the center would be a region of equalized gravity. Also, 13:42 - Wow, that looks like a proper accretion disk, flattening out perpendicular to its axis of rotation. Cool!
