question.On bar 16, where you are to play similar to bar 13, what do the 2 tails coming up from the 3rd and 4th diagonal lines signify?I hope that question makes sense.

They mean that you hit those hits (beats 3 and 4), but how to orchestrate them on the kit is up to you .

Interesting tune, this one! Is the new Grade 3 syllabus more challenging than the previous one? Your vid inspired me to get the book anyway (found it in your Amazon storefront, thanks) since it covers grades 3 - 5 it seems good value.
