I have him at 14*, he does well still. HOWEVER he's not good until his defensive gauge is full. He can't tank for shit until that happens. Once he is transformed he's still very viable.

I'm not gonna lie , this isn't really a hot take , but. I would say (In my opinion, he's one of the top 5 best aging legends limited characters in the games history)

I’d say it’s lukewarm, also in my opinion Following release he stuck around on the GRR team when it replaced Orange Piccolo with Ultra Gohan but at the same time because of Super 17, UUI and later Ultimate Gohan, ranged teams pushed him down and then FSV kept him out. Ultra Frieza also hurt the GRR team so overall he dipped in and out of the meta a lot in his first year I think the actual top 5 looks like: FSK Gohan, Future Gohan/Revhan, Purple UI, LF SS4 Gogeta, MVP 17 It’s a tough list because do you only count pre zenkai? What about when their zenkai aged better than the original? Then there’s units that are less than 2 years old too so you can’t really tell

The fact that he cancels buffs infinitely with no limit and decreases power of the blue and ult by 40% is so stupid to think about cause units now all have a limit to buff cancelling like UMV or ultimate gohan where they only get to cancel buffs around 2-3 times before they can’t anymore. IMO He’s aging really well especially with ultra beast gohan, UMV and zenkai GB running around

Everyone was rooting against Evoken and Bardock & Goku because nobody likes long combos and at the time indestructible was annoying (that was before we realized the invincibility ran out just in time to main and ult them) Red Beast only had 2 specific reasons to be hated: 1. Bringing Red Pan back with him 2. Vanish reduction
