I always felt they didn’t give Zook the time he deserved to develop as a head coach. Now we give Napier a super long leash…what a mess!

Zook was a rush decision. He should not have been hired, big mistake by Jeremy Foley, and the start of the downfall. However, Spurrier resigned quickly at the end of the season. The coaching carousel was over and Foley’s targets weren’t even interested, so he made a rush decision. Urban Meyer was pushed by the university president, Bernie Machen, who was formerly the president at Utah where Meyer was HBC. While Meyer had success on the field, the culture of program was horrible. Enter the 3 Ms, Muschamp, McElwain, and Mullen; none of which had the actual pedigree for the job. After the Ms come the Ns, Sun Belt Billy. I’ve got some personal connections to CBN (who I don’t know personally) so I have been an ardent supporter. However, he doesn’t have the pedigree, either, nor does he have the record on the field. My prediction? Given Sasse’s sudden resignation, we’ll hire yet another mediocre coach who doesn’t have the pedigree. He’ll either fail horribly, or begin the resurrection. My money is on failure. Then maybe… we’ll hire Gruden and maybe he’ll be great. Although, I remember when his daughter went to Tennessee and he was the HBC rumor at UTK. In short, it’s like the 2024 presidential election… we’re all screwed.

I’m sure it’s gonna come off as disrespectful but videos like this are just dumb. There are very few programs in the country who have had success year in and year out over the history of the sport. For the most part Florida has been very good and of course they’re down right now and they’re down for the same reasons Many other programs are. Can’t get the right coach, big recruits maybe don’t turn out, recruits, or just having bad luck/bad play calling in big games. The end 🤣
