im so thankful i got to do this with you. josei literally is what inspired me to make my stories because i always tell myself, "make the book or show you want to read or watch" and it gave me the courage to go through with making my comic.

Such a good panel and i didnt know some of these series are considered josei. I’ve been personally trying to pick up more josei/shoujo content because ive noticed how when i was younger and just eager to consume anything animated i fell into shoujosei series more often than i do now. Its weird how as anime/manga has been exploding over this last decade josei is being quietly left out.

Was happy to be able to see this panel in person, got some good recommendation to look at for the genre and didn't even know Eden of the east was in it.

kudos for being masked, nice to see someone still caring about the pandemic

Right like when i went to c2e2 and the Eastman panel i was one of the few if not the only one. There's this idea its harder to hear people masked but thats so not true especially if youve got a mic

Had no idea this an category. Jellyfish Princess (1st) and Michiko & Hatchin (3rd) are some of my favorite animes. Hands down.

Would have been more credible if a Japanese woman gave her perspective on why Josei is dying. Hard to take a westerner's view serious on the matter.
