Bhai meine to TMKOC k eps Tapu sena went to clg and to hell with society and its issues and corruption issues etc.after rhey went to clg it became unrelatable like I went to college with them at same year and I wanted to watch their clg life and OTT was not and popular and cheap thing back then so I relayed on it and dude they were acting like a 5th std student in clg. So I stopped it and I used to watch that show only for Tapu sena and GPL matches.

Reasons of downfall: 1. Asit Modi (director of TMKOC) making un-necessary appearance 2. Asit Modi trying to portray as if he is the only pillar of the TMKOC while in true nature the real pillars are the characters and script. 3. The background sound effects similar to Sas-Bahu serials 4. Scripts are not funny anymore, feels like more of a low level Sas-Bahu serial 5. Used to be unpredictable in nature and cover lots of things in a single episode, but now little topics are stretched to multiple episodes with slow and predictable script 6. Used to portray common society but now the Bhide is in upper middle class being a private tuition teacher. Script and appearance is not relatable to common people anymore. It feels like some OTT show made for english audience 7. Replacing the old staff for the characters doesn't affect any serial negatively until & unless the script is getting bad day by day. 8. TMKOC lost its charm once Disha Vakani, aka, Daya's artist left the show. Still, they managed quite well. From Daya's character now becoming a memory, all the other people in the cast still made it work. Yes, the kids grew older, so they also kept leaving the show. But still, most of the elders still stayed. Also, the newly casted characters also carried a similar charm, like Raj Anadkat(Tapu) or Nirmal Soni(Dr. Hathi). These people kept the integrity of the show alive. Then COVID struck and slowly a few more characters pulled out. Neha Mehta(Anjali) and Gurucharan Singh (Sodhi) left the show at similar times, which was a huge change for the show, as these had been two of the main characters right since the beginning. Their replacements weren't appreciated either. Jennifer Mistry's (Roshan Kaur) exit was considered very controversial, which hampered the shows image. The biggest setback for the show was the exit of Shailesh Lodha, aka, Taarak Mehta. He left the show after being insulted by the producer. This was the biggest change in the show, as his character was extremely important to the show. His exit made fans loose a connection with the show. Now these things happen all the time. Family shows dont last for more than 7-8 years because of either creative differences or characters leaving the show or the story having no growth. TMKOC had a very interesting format, thanks to which it survived for so long. However this was bound to happen. I don't think that the makers want to end the show, but it's going to happen in the next 3-4 years max. The only thing that can save this show is a comeback of a few old characters, because nobody is going to care about the writing anymore. Only old sentiments and nostalgia can bring people in. If a character like that of Daya or Taarak is brought back to the show, that's the only way. In the way that it's going though, looks extremely unlikely. The day Dilip Joshi leaves the show is the day this show will end. He is the man who has kept the show together and is the only wholesome and important character left. All the other dont hold the same sentiments as him. Let's live with the memories of this show, that's it, signing off...

I still see the old episodes of TMKOC! Before sleep, every single day I watched the old episodes. I repeated the episodes but it never bored me! Nowadays, Asit Modi doesn’t care about audience. And if you are an avid watcher and say the quality has really dipped yet you watch it, instead of watching something good(aaj k time pe thanks to ott, a lot of good stuff is up) you keep fuelling these shows which now are just cashgrab. Then such shows/movies will keep happening. If you find shows boring yet keep watching well then, that's a choice you made to keep watching things that are mediocre. Say for comedy, I'll say try true beauty(kdrama), it is a genuinely funny show, once you are over the language barrier(subs ka sahara). I started watching the kapil sharma show, but then soon realised the writing is worse than comedy circus, so i dropped it, instead watched flcl, dave chappelle's show, malcom in the middle, seinfeld.

First of all, thank you, YBP Filmy, for this detailed video! I truly appreciate the effort you’ve put into compiling this for us. For me, this show now holds bittersweet memories, though mostly sweet nostalgia. As a kid, I used to watch it during its peak and absolutely loved it. I stopped watching it a long time ago, and whenever I revisit it, I only repeat the classic Bhootni Wale episodes. Hearing about the toxic work culture and harassment was upsetting, but as an adult, I now understand that what we see on screen isn’t the full reality-everything that glitters isn’t gold. Since I never watched the show religiously during the major changes, I’m left with only fond memories, and honestly, I’m okay with that. Knowing that the show is no longer the same is enough for me, and I’d like to keep it this way to avoid any disappointment. P.S. I’m that emotional fool because it truly hurt when we lost Doctor Hathi, Nattu Kaka, and even recently when Goli left-even though it’s been over half a decade since I last followed the show. I’m saving myself from heartbreak for when the show ends entirely. I just can’t afford these mini cracks in my heart, watching the show fade away episode by episode... so 😊

I have so much frustration that I cannot stop thinking about the positives and negatives of this show. Recent episodes have instilled a fear in me of not watching this show just because it has converted into a dramatic daily soap. At first, a storyline or problem were executed so beautifully and with such a high quality that it used to be over in maximum 3-4 episodes with peak comedy. Now an issue elongates to 20 episodes with either it ending up as a dream or unfavorable outcome. I kind of want to make a gc just to discuss the downfall! Is anyone interested?
