All when they were told they wouldn't even have a winning record. Burrow is the answer and Taylor is growing as a coach every year. Who dey!

Kid Awesome the Browns are perennial losers tho, the Bengals hadn’t lost more than 12 games in a season since 2002 in 2010 they were 4-12 which was their worst record of the decade until last years 2-14 season and remember the Bengals made the playoff 5 years in a row 2011-2015 so it’s different than the Browns situation like I said the Browns are perennial losers consistently 2-14 1-15 3-13 or even 0-16 lol

Never giving any help to Marvin Lewis will do that. But that professional football franchise doesn't need things like a scouting department....or free agency

Exactly... this is a prime example of what happens when organizations can properly kill NFL teams.
@anthonygould77254 жыл бұрын
Yes, Marvin Lewis was one of the best drafters in the league period. The only way this team will see any success is to draft well multiple years in a row, and given their resources.. good luck. If I was an owner, I'd do anything to get Marvin Lewis as some type of draft consultant. Also, Mike Brown is the most pathetic owner in professional sports period, look at his Wikipedia. As an Ohio Native, Unfortunate Bengals fan, I hope they don't draft Burrows and ruin his career.

The Bengals vs Niners (1988) was the first SuperBowl I ever watched...it was the game that led me to fall in love with American Football.
@jamesonbolen90582 жыл бұрын
It was also the first I ever watched and I'm a hardcore Bengal fan now but fell in love with Joe Montana & Jerry Rice & then Steve Young & Terrell Owens. That SB also led me to play QB every single game from our first year eligibility in 3rd grade-8th grade losing 4 games in 6 years then started as JV QB for 2 years then Varsity 2 years. My school had losing seasons from 89-00 but finally my SR Year we went undefeated & my school has been a powerhouse w/o a losing season since. Played a year at Ohio Northern & then Walked On to Miami w Big Ben the starter. Unfortunately I had a lot of Johnny Manziel in me & was a QB that plays like Vontaze Burflict besides the dirty hits.

The late Greg Cook was the team's "franchise" QB before Ken Anderson. Unfortunately, he had a rotator cuff issue that basically ended his NFL career. Like knee injuries were for speed positions (RB, WR) in the NFL back then, rotator cuff issues were the injury that would signal the end for QB's, because surgery for those types of injuries were in the infancy stage then. Had Greg Cook never gotten injured, he would've likely been the QB for 10+ seasons, Ken Anderson would've never been drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals...

In the late 1990s, I read a Sports Illustrated article about why the Bengals just couldn't seem to turn things around. Part of it was there were few big-name free agent players willing to sign with Cincinnati. A big part of that was how ridiculously cheap Mike Brown was when he took over. Players were flown into Cincinnati in coach, and were warned that they were responsible for anything they took from the mini-bar in their hotel rooms. Now, granted, when you make as much money as an NFL player, where even the minimum salary at the time was over $400K, you probably can afford to pay for a $5 candy bar. But when the guy who you're interviewing with has billions of dollars and won't pay for a first class plane ticket for you, let alone a $5 candy bar, that sends a very clear signal of what you're getting into.

As a Falcons fan. I really want to see the Bengals do good. I've been to Cincinnati and it's a nice city. I love that part of the country where the south meets the mid west

I think it's really unique and kinda cool how they do everything at their stadium!

Lately the weirdest thing about the Bengals is how they pick in the draft. The one year 2 OL in a row when they only needed one and then this year 3 LB when they needed an OL, weird strategies that don't pan out usually. Lots of bad draft picks lately but also some great ones, they seem to give up on strategy after the 2nd or 3rd round.
