The failure of type soul was solely because of 2 reasons. that being lack of content and the way you obtain visored/vasto/letzt and skill boxes. Visored was necessary but the obtainment method was so incredibly boring and badly designed, not trynna go into depth but I quit just because i was practically being forced to farm 10 frags to be able to PvP properly.

Although combat was amazing and fun, being too grindy, devs’ cc mindset, bad rates, heavily pvp based progression (which isnt really bad but kinda sucks if people get a whole 5 squad with them or of the game is dead and has no players), and op specs and dev boosting ruined the game imo

Another reason it died is because if you wanted to start playing type soul like 1 month or 2 months ago, everyone was max level with their overpowered builds so you were stuck having to fight elite grades just to get to grade 1, and if you do find someone ur grade it’s usually someone’s alt and they will join and kill you

Type soul was just a summer game until school started. After school had started people started to distant themselves from the game as copy began to get leaked and multiple people playing the copy because the grind was very hard (yes it was). After receiving my bankai I had no need to go for vizard just for one buff as testers get all 3. Peroxide was also being released and being more known as what the new bleach game was to come. It was a fun ride. But the grind was hard and the devs couldnt keep oeple in check or keep continous update atleast every week or 2 week. I knew the game was going to die either way.

me and my friends always found it funny how type soul would instead of fixing bugs like most normal devs theyd ban/jail you for experiencing that bug. like bro lol, they also believed they had a foolproof anticheat which was inherently wrong because me and my friends discovered a bug which got a player who we used it on banned (rip bro, didnt think he'd get banned we 3 were just goofing)

- CC players kept attempting to gatekeep (When public dropped CC players were repeatedly asking them to to make lesser vizard harder to get in CC chat) and im not trolling, they complained to the devs to make essences more rare - Devs somehow kept struggling to nerf things (like blood) despite constantly complaints which imo felt like they were protecting there friend's builds - Didn't release ranked, raid queues, and decided to (for some reason) release clan wars first - New content kept being locked behind RNG - K1 power creeped THE FUCK out of this game (The Fear having a cripple AND ragdoll in it's shrift moveset, Thunderbolt shrift having a literal 1 bar true combo ragdoll, Shark partial having an instant, , tripled runspeed evasive that also could be used to hit someone) - They recycled a SHIT ton of content (e.g Visionary's shrift guns, essences besides getsuga are ALL old specs.)

My favourite part of type soul was the day of release when I was in ryuko or whatever it’s called and I was queuing with my friends and we kept getting the king of the hill mission I really enjoyed the low level skill based pvp and it was an overall positive experience. The game got boring when I was max level grinding for bankai I got so bored I chose to make an arrancar alt rather than grind for bankai because of how boring and slow it was. After that I just quit the game and I haven’t touched it in maybe 4 months

The only good part was the combat, the grind for Bankai and other faction versions were tedious with like 180 won raids on release. The second modes for SR was borderline horrible compared to other games, and letz was busted for no reason. Not to cry but... I played on release and as a above average player at the time the grind was life draining. not to mention Type soul was a summer game which had sealed its fate before it started.

The moderation team absolutely destroyed the game for me... they banned my friend, friend streamed in the vc, he made a ticket, and the SAME mod kept sending random gifs along with stickers, spamming "idc", after a few mins the mod closed the ticket, we only got him unbanned cause we contacted like 4 more mods in dms

I'm not sure how Type Soul even got popular, it was a cc bleach game, so most cc games die or still average the same players on public release, the combat was imbalanced with it being competitive rng and buggy, and the grinding was horrible, and the devs/moderators were, horrible and uncoordinated. Honestly it was a miracle for the game to gain any popularity at all.

I think you got the 1% argument wrong. The argument is that if they get weapon legendaries easily at the wrong rates. They'll try to spin for OTHER things that were ACTUALLY 1% for example the shikai rerolls. So if I get legendary weapons in 10 spins the player will go "wow I'm lucky!" and try for the thing of more value (shikai) and not get it in 100 spins but spend much more money. This is a tactic scammers use a lot. For example, an arcade will have small prizes in a crane machine and have the crane grip be stronger, and will have the sam,e machine but with big prizes with a weak crane grip another machine. This is why it's a bad thing.

I would still play the game if they didn't ban me for no reason in-game and in discord mod abuse is the number 1 sign that the devs abandoned the game and let the mods do anything they want. Rinrin was the only reason the game was updating. But i would come back from the game if they unban everyone when update drops.

When they lost sirin it was admitted that it left a giant hole in their team, yeah I bet it did, he legit built the game's foundation. Unfortunately he was an awful person, dave and k1 are good too but they're busy with other projects. without a good scripter who's dedicated to type soul, there's no way in the fiery pit of Dante's inferno is type soul coming back, and even if it did I would dip my bottom into acid and scream crikey if the youtuber's who promoted the game with their audience to boost its player count, were to ever touch that game again.
