Yeah, I have a feeling that Soren is the Dragon Prince version of Sokka. Also, there are graphic novels that I recommend reading if you haven't (especially the one with young Rayla and the Bloodmoon Huntress, herself). Also, I thought that Queen Aditi is Janai and Karim's grandmother.

I also got Puzzle House early, since it’s available at Barnes and Noble a week early. It’s definitely worth the read, especially if you want to see little Soren and Claudia. Who doesn’t want to see little Soren and Claudia?

The priest helping Karim is the same one that Aaravos possessed in S3 E7 when he corrupted the sun forge and destroyed Lux Aurea. That dark mark on the back of his neck is where the chrysalis caterpillar bit him to infect him with dark magic allowing the fallen star to possess him. With season 4 confirming that Aaravos can influence those tainted with dark magic, it makes one wonder if the priest is helping Karim of his own free will or if Aaravos is subtly influencing him to manipulate the fanatical prince into being a new pawn for his scheme.
