I read on the wiki that the Jailer had a fascination with Puzzles and riddles. And if you read the novels or the Puzzle House graphic novel, you know that Viren’s mentor considered puzzles to be a sort of man made magic. What if maybe Kpp’Ar was fascinated with the legend of the Jailer, and was possibly hoping to emulate her craft. Or, what if he somehow knew that Viren was a descendent of the hailer, and that’s why he took him in as an apprentice. The image of the Jailer does look a little like Claudia. Maybe the Jailer designed the prison designed so that only she or her descendants could open it. Also, I think the High Priest is being influenced by Aaravos, but in a manor so subtle that he isn’t aware of it. Maybe if they end up restoring Sol Regeams sight, it could start another war with humans and Xadia and the chaos could be what frees Aaravos.

K'ppar Could Have Been Influenced By The Jailer Throughout His Life But I Don't Think Viren's A Descendant Of The Jailer, Viren's Direct Descendant Has To Be Ziard, Same With Claudia. And This Is Gonna Sound Crazy, But My Speculation Is That The Jailer Is Callum's Ancestor On His Biological Father's Side.

I was thinking that too! Crazier theory: The creators also confirmed that we will learn why Viren put his mentor in the coin. Maybe Kpp’ar gets out of the coin next season to tell us that AND how the prison can be opened!

I need to get around to reading the novels and graphic novels. I'm not sure the Jailer would set it up so her descendants could open the prison; she seemed to take trapping Aaravos forever quite seriously. I like the theory that Callum is the Jailer's descendant though. It would be amazing if the descendants of the original people who trapped Aaravos are the ones who stop him. It would be even crazier if Callum was the Jailer's descendant and ended up being the one to release Aaravos.

I've currently only watched this latest series twice so far and read the debt story even less so can you help me clarify 1 timeline thing this episode might contradict? in this episode, did Karim say Avizandum start hunting/exterminating the Order of the Blood Moon after he became King of the Dragons, thereby forcing the Blood Moon Huntress (since I can't remember how to spell her actual name, I'll use TBMH going forward) to seek protection from the Sun Queen (whose name I also can't remember to spell)? The same Sun Queen who infamously disappeared before she could decide which Archdragon would rule the Dragons? I think you can see where my confusion comes from. Am I misremembering something and Avizandum started hunting BM elves shortly after Luna Tenebris died but before he became the official King (which might make sense from the concept that a Moonshadow Dragon Queen may have favoured Moonshadow Elves generally)? Was it a different Queen who bound TBMH from the one tried to bring peace among the Archdragons (far less likely by my recollection but I'm currently not ruling anything out)? Actually, as I was typing this, I more worrying thought came to me, what will TBMH do if she realises Avizandum's only son and heir is wandering Xadia with only 3 humans, 2 small animals, and an elf as his consistent companions/protectors? Sol Regem might not be the only one be able to exploit Zubeia's current predicament, and TBMH seems to be much more ruthless than Rex Igneous (not to mention far harder to keep track of in a fight)

Yes, the timeline can get confusing. After Luna Tenebris disappeared, Avizandum started hunting down members of the Order of the Blood Moon. Maybe this was before he was the official Dragon King? The impression I got from the short story was that all the archdragons wanted Kim'dael dead, and were hunting her. Queen Aditi is the same Sunfire Queen who tried to broker peace between the archdragons, and she's the one who put the collar on Kim'dael. And yes, whereas Sol Regem was a tyrant with a superiority complex, Kim'dael is an actual psychopath. I can definitely see her going after Zym. There's another timeline contradiction that had me confused: all the humans were kicked out of Xadia when Luna Tenebris became the Dragon Queen (after Sol Regem was blinded). But both the Orphan Queen and the Jailer were in Xadia actively helping the dragons and elves to imprison Aaravos long after that.

@@Dare_to_Nerd I see, that would make sense (sorry, nit-picky I know, but I don't think Luna Tenebris disappeared, I think Zubeia said she 'mysteriously died', while Queen Aditi was the one that vanished) and Avizandum was probably given focus because he was the one to become King and yes, ever since the revelation that a human/Ezran's ancestor uncovered the Key of Aaravos and seemingly informed the Archdragons (since I think Avizandum reigned for about 300 years, meaning Luna Tenebris must have ruled for the other 700 years after Sol Regem stepped down), I have been intensely curious about that story, let alone the fact that the Jailor was called a human mage in this episode (hm, dark mage that the Archdragons decided to trust, or mage of some other kind?), if we don't get either a flashback episode at some point, or at the very least a graphic novel showing these events, I will be shocked off topic but I definitely agree with Ezran on preventing Aaravos from escaping at all, considering even 4 very powerful Archdragons didn't seem to believe they were able to kill him and had to be very careful in planning how to imprison him, never mind executing him

@@Dare_to_Nerd okay, so I just skimmed through Queen's Mercy, and it says dragons, plural, throughout, so it says to me that the dragons as a majority probably weren't fans of The Order, but most likely couldn't act against them while Luna Tenebris allowed it to continue, though Avizandum might have spearheaded the extermination, so to speak, before the succession battles began in earnest

@@j.w.sraptorsquad982 Yep yep. That's what I was assuming. I took a look at the Dragon Prince wiki about the Order too. It said Avizandum "led the inhabitants of Xadia in abolishing the Order" when he "rose to power", which makes it sound like he was already the Dragon King, but it could be that he just had a heavy influence at the time. I was also intrigued by the fact that the Jailer was a mage. As far as we know, Callum is the first human to connect with a primal source. However, humans did have primal stones that they used to channel magic that wasn't dark magic, so maybe that was what the Jailer used?

@@Dare_to_Nerdso many questions, so few answers, hopefully clarified somewhere down the line, before all is said and done (and I would imagine outside of sheer physical/magical power, you would probably want heavy influence/support to sway the chances of ruling the Dragons in your own favour, certainly can't hurt your odds)
