Love my Drake. Run with Madden and will to rebuild which allows 4 ridiculous heals and near unending frustration for red BBs…

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Albemarle on the PC doesn’t have radar, correct? In fact, when Albemarle first came out, it was a surprise to everyone that it was given the radar consumable. So from that standpoint, Albemarle never should’ve had the radar, therefore, the Drake shouldn’t have been expected to have the radar.

Albermale doesn't have radar on PC. The only reason it got it on Legends is because of the HE pen nerf it got on Legends version. Drake with radar would be so broken due to the ships low concealment and devastating HE. One salvo into a broadside DD can devstrike it.

Xarkun stated that the Drake's reload is 16.2 km...he did correct that, but it got me to thinking, what matter of reload time IS 16.2 km? I think Xarkun quite unintentionally is on to something regarding the human perception of time, space and speed therein. Discuss!

For me it’s the lack of radar which means you have less battle impact. As much as the HE hits hard I don’t think teams are struggling to melt battleships. It doesn’t feel like a step up in tier quality. To think the Salem and this is the same tier, there’s a 10 second reload advantage and gets a radar. If I’m playing a cruiser I like to make it my responsibility to deal with destroyers which is something this ship just can’t do on its own. Maybe it’s a good duo ship if you have a DD player who spots Edit. Played it again. Lack of Radar still sucks but can slap with HE. Not a carry ship but can put out some damage Edit edit - if ships push into you kiting it’s a monster ship for its tanking and damage output
