You need time too produce quality content and that’s being overlooked. Kendrick went to therapy too work on all his flaws , figured out the issues and found a way to produce a whole album based upon that to help other people recognize their issues. That genuinely takes time. That level of meaning is something that we’ve never seen from drake. Drake songs can be great but they at times or most times can be very surface level. It’s easier to crank out fun songs that don’t mean much and that’s why he has more. Drake is great at that but that’s why even with the smaller catalogue the other greats have put out, they’re still comparable to drake.

Its crazy how 2012 Thru 2019 was some of the most exciting years in hip hop. It renewed my love for rap. But now i feel like im getting jaded again. I find myself exploring other genres of music again because there's nothing exciting in rap. And i like a Durk single now and then but let's be honest about Durk- His albums are weak and he ain't all that special as an artist. And Cole's last album was lukewarm at best. Although is song with Benny The butcher Johnnny P's Caddy was one of the best rap songs in the last 10 years imo
