I hope the Elden ring devs are watching these videos of the convergence mod because, like it or not the convergence mind could be great inspiration for the elden ring DLC. Look at what they did to the lake of rot if that was in the base game then it would’ve been my favorite area.

But that is not my main reason my main reason is look at the frenzied flame spells in the convergence model and compare them to the base game in the convergence mod you feel like a GOD. In the base game it feels like you are a maniac they decided to eat Jamaican food for the first time in their life.

Watching this November 2024; Castle Morne has been changed into a town full of frenzied loonies. You can get to the castle lift like before but I seem to remember it's via another route. Also individual pieces of Lionel's Armour, like other sets, are found in difference places.

Yura's Kanabo is a personal fave of mine, it absolutely SHREDS poise with its ash of war. Like seriously, doing that much poise with animations that make it look like you're just punching an enemy is too hilarious and cool to not use as a weapon every chance you get. No matter the build, I will go out of my way to find a way to use it, even if I'm using spells instead of melee

Ty for showing the follow up. That last aoe is massive E: some weapon AOE have different follow ups depending if you click or hold LT and also based on another LT/heavy/light after. Some have 3 part chains.

love the video! but just as a heads up, the teleporter at castle morne that you unlock after killing the LMB, teleports you to the sewers/shunning grounds in leyndell immediately, hopefully that helps for future runs!!

I was really hoping Yura's Kanabo would be a great hammer or even a colossal weapon. the kanabo/tetsubo is one of my favourite historical weapons. It was nice to see the Lionine Misbegotten wielding the Grafted Blade Greatsword tho, really think it should've been that way in vanilla

hey heres some early rune farming tips for greyoll in convergence especially but also in general somewaht being that you can use poison mist and either rot mist in convergence or rot breath in base game AND while in convergence especially you can get not just golden pickled foul feet but also with an enchanted remenant you can get the gold scarab to bosot rune drops as well as godrics great rune which is always active in convergence and will give you a further 10% rune drops and most of all, you can farm greyoll especially easily in current convergence as she is right next to the site of grace and you can hit her with both mists and than AS SOON AS SHE DIES and is still in her death anaimation, sit down at the grace and you will get ONLY THE RUNES FOR KILLING HER and she will respawn letting you farm her several times and than when you are done repeating the cycle, make sure to pickled foul foot for her last death as the 5 dragons that she wakes when she roars will also die granting you a shit ton more runes and this glitch works base game too meaning even base game, if you hit her with poison and rot and than run back to the site of grace and wait until she JUST dies and instantly sit down before her death anim finishes, you can farm her again...

I don't know if it's patched yet but if you get to ainsel river from the teleporters after tree avatars and go down the path which has ants there is a drop which gives you 10 golden rune 10 I think.

Btw if you didn't know, if you two hand weapons it adds on half of what your current str is, meaning if you're at 66 str and two hand something, you actually have 99 str. Only saying this because I saw you leveling up str to the weapons base requirements instead of just two handing it.

That only applies to stat requirements. It doesn't actually raise your stat.

I see no good reason not to try the other classes. Melee classes end up needing to “make up” for the lack of spells with cool weapons. There aren’t too many melee weapons for spell casters. Just really cool ones. Variety is the spice of life after all.

Bows work amazing. Shortbow's Barrage can destroy a lot of bosses and longbow with Mighty Shot can snipe enemies like a sniper rifle.
