No, there's no color requirement for my airline. We ARE required to wear a blazer for internationals, though, while domestic it is not a requirement.

Great video as always! Sorry, kind of a personal question here if you dont mind. I got an ear infection (canal between my nose and my left ear partially blocked) and I got a flight in few days, do you think i can fly? or I will die of pain during the descend

I'm so sorry this is a late reply! I hope you got an answer before your flight, but I do not recommend flying with ear block as it can be very painful and dangerous (if ear block is severe). I have done it twice before, but it hurts REAL bad and is scary for me.

Do you get to go in a faster line for customs or are you just stuck in the normal line?

Yes! We have a designated crew line, but I also have Global Entry which I usually will go through.

It’s cheaper than global entry (but you still get all of the perks of global entry and precheck but you also get expedited customs in Canada) and since you have flight benefits it would probably be super easy for you to find an interview slot! A lot of people don’t know what nexus is unless you live on the border so I figured I’d bring it up incase you need to renew soon :)

When plane stops between where ur going do u have to exit or can u stay on?

We have to stay on if there are any passengers. If we have sit time or are changing planes between flights, we can get off!

How long is your crew rest usually?

It really depends on the flight. We take the time that's left inflight after we finish the 1st service and subtract 90 minutes for estimated 2nd service then divide by 2 (for 2 breaks). On a long haul flight, it can be 6 hours! On a shorter international like this it was like 1 hour 50 min!

When I was in college, I really wanted to travel but I also had no money (😂), so I thought, what's a way I can do both haha! My mom had suggested being a FA for awhile, but I never gave it much thought until my senior year of college. I didn't know anyone in the industry, but I watched a lot of KZbin videos & did a lot of research & thought I'd like it so I decided to go for it😁 best decision ever!
