If I had never heard them in 1984, I'd be amazed at this. WTF is up with "Medicine Show" and "Live" being submarined? Is there some squabble with A&M? Is there a trove of tape somewhere from that REM tour that yielded the material for "This Is Not The New Dream Syndicate Album"? That was the best piece of vinyl of 1984 and it deserves to be fleshed out and heard.
