I saw a guy take the shrinking beer, turned off the gravity, jumped up to the top left of the big window, jammed himself into the corner somehow and when he grew back to normal he phased out onto the platform and ran around as long as he wanted in space. He literally went all the way up to the big dish/array thats out there on the left. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen in this game

You can actually do this without being small, while disabling gravity and jumping against a specific spot against that window. Works better if you're in a lobby and not the host in my experience :)

Oh, I didn't know you can do that that way. I use Wormhole Special because, if glitched right, you can set your spawn outside. If you break gravity before hand, then you'll have low gravity outside too.

And then I commented on a video about DRG about this happy experience, even though the details might escape me. I can definitively say that drinking Leaf Lover's is actually cursed. A random bought a round for the entire team, and for the at least next 24 hours, there was an unhealthy amount of wardens that spawned, no matter the haz i was playing on. I blame the Leaf Lover's for spawning these extra bugs.

Fun fact: Slayer Stout is most likely a reference to Warhammer Fantasy’s dwarf slayers. When a dwarf does something particularly shameful, they’ll take the slayer oath to die a glorious death as repentance. They dye their hair a bright orange/red, wear no armor, and usually charge straight into a tide of foes with either two one-handed axes or a giant two-handed axe or hammer.

Always loved the lines the Dwarves would give when they order specific drinks. Like how apparently the Tunnel Rat is actually brewed with an actual rat, or how Blackout Stout has them sometimes day "May as well skip straight to the hangover!". It's nice to have this funny little mechanic add so much character to the rig and Dwarves, and I really do hope Lloyd expands his menu someday soon. (Lloyd is the best mysterious bartender character.)

I remember there was a bug a few months ago where if you switch dwarves while under the effect of beers, their effect will not expire. So some people were eternally large or small, and I have a screenshot of 4 dwarves all of different size - normal, fully shrunk, fully grown, and one that stopped growing prematurely

My friends and I have adopted a tradition of spamming the 'cheers' until one dwarf says the last to finish is a pointy eared leaf lover line. then we point and laugh at and throw our mugs at the last one to finish. Typically its the one who said the line, but sometimes you miss it.

You can actually go down on a mission with the Blackout Stout on. I found if you drink it just as the pod is about to drop, you get the drunken effect but don't have enough time to go down and start the mission at max drunkenness.

My main issue with the special beers is that some of them are incredibly useful like redrock blasters increasing hp by over 50% while dark morkite let’s you get more morkite… most of the time you still have to go to the final room on mining missions anyways, and it’s ONLY useful for mining missions

I’d like the ability to use brewing ingredients to strengthen the effects of the craft beers. I think extending the duration of the effects would be boring, so perhaps the intensity would be raised? What if there was a slider ranging from 1x (normal intensity) to 2-3x? Imagine someone pouring all their ingredients into an Underhill Deluxe and becoming the size of an ant.

My engie is built with Beserker, Leech, Iron Will, Thorns, and Second Wind. The fact that I can die and pick myself up, do the pickaxe AOE power attack to clear all the enemies around me and heal myself at the same time is so fucking amazing. It's saved me and my team more than once, and with Skull Crusher, my character pretty much becomes a melee only dwarf

It's horrible, If you get bad motion sickness DO NOT do it because it WILL fuck you up, as someone who doesn't get sick from visually induced motion sickness it still made me feel like crap...

If you're with a group of friends (or with yourself, really) and start drinking your brew, the effects(maybe) along with the drunkness, carry over to the mission (as long as you consume the brew before the launch happens). If you do it successfully, you could drink a blackout stout, drop to Hoxxes, and have 100% drunkness and not pass out. With some experimentation with friends, it appears only the host of the lobby can experience this.

I disagree with your idea that Pots O' Gold is ever a _bad_ thing. If mining the extra gold is too much of a hassle, then don't do it. But there's no reason to not use it on point extraction, etc. and mine gold only when you happen to have free space for it.

For those who are wondering how to beat missions while drunk off your ass consistently, let me give you a build. First, pick engineer. Obvious choice, you can offload some aiming to the turrets. But our goal here isn't to offload SOME aiming, it's to outsource the very act of combat. Perks: you want the perks that get you more health from red sugar, and more health from resupply. You're gonna be taking a lot of hits even with this build, so heavy healing is needed. Take either depositer or environmental resistance for some situational defensive bonuses. If you take the first, glue yourself to molly. For active perks, take shield link and beastmaster. Shield link will give you even more health to burn as long as you stay near teammates. Finally, the most important perk: Steeve. You want a guard, 100%. You will most likely not get a guard. Get whatever is full health. Maybe your teammates can lead a guard to you. Steeve is not here for his damage output. Steeve is here because Steeve draws aggro. Drawing aggro is very important because it means that those bugs aren't on you. Next: turret. Take defender gemini. The more angles of approach you have defended, the better. For grenades, you aren't hitting shit. Don't bother trying. Take either the lure for more aggro draw, or the shredders for automatic damage. I prefer shredders, because someone has to kill what the lure draws in, and that someone probably won't be you. Finally, the weapons. You have no precision, so your secondary should be the breach cutter. It doesn't matter if you can't precisely hit your shots if your shots are ten feet long and two feet tall. Finally, you want the smart rifle. Because you absolutely are not aiming consistently enough to land meatshots or electric stuns on shit, so you might as well let the game aim for you. Before you drink your blackout stout, get some Red Rock Blaster. That extra health is a literal lifesaver. Even if they fix the "beer of the day" double bonus bug, 30% extra health is nothing to sneeze at. Alternatively, if you're confident, drink a slayer stout for more power attacks. Since you have to host anyways to stay drunk on blackout, you can freely disband farm for the right drink.

A note for skull crusher: on ALL hazard levels except the last stages of Elite Deep dives, from my experience, Skull Crusher makes grunts die in one hit to the face with your pickaxe. Very useful at the end of a swarm when you have a few grunts and you also have Vampire.
