You got Fondor because you did the techno union research, when you wanted the trade federation research. Maybe try placing your diamond cruisers further back. Let the bigger ships take the laser fire while the diamonds cover them against missiles with their point defence. Munificents are just so damn good. While the Republic likes their big expensive ships, CIS operate more as an economy of scale, spamming out atrocious numbers of frigates with artillery guns to melt larger ships as they get in range. Giving those ships a fighter detatchment will certainly help you to deal with the giant Republic fuzzballs they keep sending. That said, your existing fighter squadrons did quite well, and those missile ships you had two of knocked out a fair number of them with concussion missile barrage.

Tip 1: Asajj Ventress is a Stealth unit and reveals all space/ground structures on enemy planets. You can use her to spy and save money you would normally dedicate to Probe Droids. On the ground, she can rip through infantry groups easily. Tip 2: Chardaan (bottom-right of the map) can have a Capital Shipyard built on it, so you can replace your Providences and build DH-Omni Supply Ships, which are your fleet tender/interdictor vessel.

In the current version of this mod, the sensors only give partial FoW clearance, but they also have a ping ability if you click them. Meaning you can ping base and then drop bombers/bombardment

Intel: this mod doesn't have infiltration infantry, so you can pull your ground forces from the rear systems without worrying about enemy ground forces showing up and stealing your planets.

The bomber squad at 25:00 was used in the original battlefront 2 as confederate bombers which is probably why Corey used them here.

IIRC the fighter and bomber versions are both in the game, though they're both fairly rare. In space battles, Grievous will also fly around in his personal one as well

DH-Omni supply ships can be built with capital shipyards and they can help keep your fighters and ships, especially the smaller ones like the diamond cruisers, alive longer. Also use Grievous as more than just a foot soldier. You can upgrade him to have a bigger ship such as a Providence as have his buff in space too. You might be able to get him to the Malevolence too but it might depend on the campaign you do. Don't be afraid of the hardcell ships. Their range and firepower is great against shields and subsystems.

The capturable sensor arrays don't reveal the whole map but have a ping ability that lets you reveal a spot on the map.

The HAGs are one of the best investments ever in the CIS. Their range is ridiculous but a group of 3 will vaporize anything the enemy throws at you. Just make sure you have AA as LAATs will rip them to shreds.

The different B1 colors are due to the faction they come from! The Trade Federation and regular CIS Battle Droids will have the Phantom Menace appearance, the Geonosian looking B1s must've been from the Techno Union. Super cool detail

Honestly, I think you got pretty lucky with Fondor. It’s a lot closer to your frontline than Deko Neimoidia, and right next to a chokepoint that you can reinforce if everything goes absolutely horribly wrong.

Tactical Droid 727 reporting for duty, suggested offensive maneuver. Take devaron fleet and assault chain and duro before stationing over new plympto, that reduces open offensive lines for the republic if the fleet stationed with General grievous is also moved forth to loronar. Commander this I suggest is the most logical manoeuvre. I hope this is a helpful suggestion captain and does not come across as backseat command from a long time viewer of the channel. I wish you luck with the campaign and may the B1s prove numerous and successful

Just so you know, you can only do integrations 1 at a time, the script can’t handle giving more than that. When you did an integration last episode, you ordered one for the Trade Fed and the Techno Union close together. One finished first and the other was cancelled. Worst than that, the 3000 credits invested are gone because technically didn’t refund it. Short story, only do one intergration at a time

@28:02 Actually, that's a Republic painted CR70/CR90. It looks nothing like a Consular Class. The Consular-class is the ship from Episode 1, refitted for combat.

As a reminder shack, if any units are near "build pad" on the capture points they only get stuck till the building gets BUILT. Just move them away from the Symbol projector before you build the base and it should avoid that issue. Edit: Aw, i see you discovered the Repair droids. Goes with out saying, regardless of which faction your playing building at least one "field repair" base in battle is always a good idea. Its the only way to get those repair units.

@@scavenger6268 That would be pretty neat, hell it would probably be alot more useful then the SINGLE DROID company you can spawn (for balance reasons i assume). But yeah the Field bases are the only way to get Medic/Repair Troopers and Droids. Its not REALLY a problem though, just build one at your first landing zone and 1 of them should be enough since you get 2 of them for each one.

To my Belladonna, At last, we have seen the end of our blockade of Bestine. The army has arrived, and the invasion is nearly complete. The droids did... as expected, considering their poor tactical ability, but the battle was won nonetheless. We move now to the front line to prepare for our next move. I'm told we're to get a carrier to support our fleet, one of the monstrous lucrehulk types, and it makes me nervous. I understand the tactical benefit, but of course I cannot trust a ship so full to the seams with droids. One single glitch in the control unit, and the fleet is torn to pieces by our own machines. I'm told that elsewhere, our fleets are advancing on the enemy. More worlds are joining our cause, and there's talk of new battleships being constructed. think you need to reduece the force, Fondor is a mixed blessing, thought you should blitz for Thomork for the lvl4 ship yard andc chokepoint front. But now i think Khomm is the goal to reduce the front, plus you'll pocket a number of republic worlds, then blockage them with cheap ships, and siege them at your willl.

carracks in TR are a fucking brawler menace heavy turbos and ions, in the fotr era the lore has them with different armaments! just like how the imperial Dreadnought cruisers have different guns than the republic era ones (FOTR has ions while in Thrawns revenge it has pure turbo)
