Great video, I will be coming back to this one for chord melody ideas. Nice to hear Vic Juris get a mention, he was so great and not as famous as he should be.

I vigorously agree. Vic was way deep as a musician/player, and I never met him but he seems also to have been a really good guy.

The Drop 2 and 3 note books are fantastic, and somewhat advanced. LOTS of information in them.

Randy's books are superb. I'm a little confused by the "Volume I" thing... if there were more volumes I'd certainly buy them. Anyway, I'm not playing enough these days, which makes me sad. You do great with this channel, cheers.

@@Mikkokosmos in blue bossa, to harmonize the tone F, Eb, D, C, Bb when the chords are Dm7b5/G7, you use Fm 6 dim and Abm 6 dim (like barry harris), how do you do for the "D" (on G7 chord) ? thanks Mikko
@Mikkokosmos2 жыл бұрын
@@brunolaire7826 good question. You can treat the G7 as an Fmin7(b5) right? Ab minor is the altered sound. Makes sense in theory but I find it very difficult to make it sound good. The altered sound is already tricky as it is
