I've been obsessed with The Field Mice since forever - I'm so glad they have fans other than me! You can definitely hear their influences in their songs, but unlike a lot of bands, they're not a copy, they're a whole new sound.

I love this live version! The bass is so loud! And you can hear each instrument so distinctively, as well as the singer.

this is one of the best songs out of the album. Those guys know how to write and play songs about being heartbroken and still be fun, without bullshit sentimentalism

Beautiful performance. Haven't seen them live yet. They play without bass? Not that the rhythm section isn't holding it's own. Just interesting.

@fitzy220290 nothing to do with american apparel, not even figuratively, seek therapy,... I have to admit. Though they are in the direction of what could be called american fantasy, with apparel of the american sort.

If this is their BEST song then they are in trouble and the next single would be - "I thought I'd be in much trouble and I was right". Good sound, tasteless fashion and Moz like gestures don't make up for good MUSIC ! Something is a miss, something similar to - A MELODY. Silly how I fall for the critic's ad each and every time. Some old man of 25 who thinks this is the band of our time but with eternal music. BS.

I feel some lack of emotion in the vocals, I don´t know why. It´s an amazingly emotional song, I feel grateful anyways......
