I’m Christian. I notice Muslims say this a lot. My Muslim friend said this to me as well. As a Christian, I’ve never been taught to approach life like this. But it feels calming. Is this how Muslims approach life? Is this what is taught in your religion? I wish and hope to adopt this philosophy. I’ve never approached life like that. I approach life with anxiety and fear about the injustices, and then feel the need to try to right the injustices. It’s not a calming way to approach things. It’s very fear driven, bc quite honestly I have a hard time believing in God to tell you the truth . I can’t even sleep at night bc I worry about the Palestinians, I cry, I protest about this genocide. What am I missing in life? I guess I’m missing the belief in a divine power? …. @@474fsde Why fear the future when Allah is in control of everything: the past, the present, and the future? As Muslims, we are ordained by Allah to fight against injustices and oppression. However, the weakness of our Ummah is due to a colonial cultural backward mindset that has created more ignorance and greed, trapping people in earthly entertainments and materialistic pursuits. Additionally, we face the staggering betrayal of corrupt Arab leaders, and as we feel powerless in this most horrible times and incapable of anything more to rescue our Palestinian brothers and sisters, we rely on Allah the Omnipresent, the Lord of the Earth, Heavens and universe, we pray to Him and ask Him to rescue our brothers and sisters who are being exterminated and tortured, and give to those of us who are feeling very distressed about this horrific situation, to give us patience, wisdom and empower us to support and stand with our Palestinian people, and that's the weakest leap of faith we can do, as prayer and tawakul (reliance) on Allah are our strongest weapon against the oppressor.

Thank you for sharing, those who have an ounce of compassion can feel it. Please more discussion, it helps us to hear compassion during times like this. From my personal experience, because of Gaza, I spoke to my mum again after 7 years. Now I pray 5 times a day and speak to my mum and dad everyday (we live in different countries), she is 60 now. It's really hard to be a good practicing Muslim but Allah gives me hope through the steadfastness of Palestine. Thank you and much love

I understand you. I feel the same way. Because its so weird and eevil. The ppl doing all this. Ive seen their videos. Ive heard the words that come out of their mouths. All the lies. And other things they r connected to. They are so lowly, ignorant, empty. Its hard to believe such incompetent ppl are behind all this. They are only able to cause so much distruction because of the machinery they have. If they had to fight one on one, they would have been non-existent a long time ago. Young teenage boys say this.
