This was definitely the weirdest goal I have ever seen. I was glad Wright was able to redeem himself but I'm disappointed that our defensive mistakes let us down

It was the manager not getting fresh defenders on the wings into matches 1 & 3 when we had leads in the second half. We lost the lead in game 1 on slow reactions by tired wide players and nearly lost the lead in game 3 in the dying minutes. But we squeaked through to the knockout stages with exhausted players. Exhaustion in game 4 led to defensive lapses that doomed the squad. That goes back to poor man management. And that is 100% on the manager.

I was astonished with the first touch on the first chance, but he actually got it on frame. Could have gone in without sharp defending from the Dutch.
