Chan is really popular outside the fandom as "the warm Vlive guy". Many fans even if not stays or not just kpop related people, they all watch chan's streams. It is hosted every sunday and after a long week of work and school or office, all people need is an hour long free time just listening to him play songs and his comforting words. not just stays but many others call him their safe haven and often visit his streams.

Some quick clarifications to this guide: -The most important one is that there are no fixed positions in stray kids anymore besides Chan being the leader. Meaning they don't go by "main/lead dancer" or such terms most of the time. However, there are three units: 3racha (producing unit), danceracha and vocalracha. A lot of people confuse 3racha with the "rap line" but that's wrong since Hyunjin and Felix also mainly rap in their songs. Same with vocalracha that consists of I.N and Seungmin, but you could say vocal line includes Minho (danceracha), Chan and Han (3racha) as well. Basically, everyone in this group does everything. -Chan is Australian but he wasn't born in Australia, he moved there when he was very young. -Lee Know is often considered the dance leader of Stray Kids, since he has a lot of professional experience. He is often seen teaching choreography or helping the rest of the kids out. -Idk why this guide mentions that Han speaks English but doesn't mention Seungmin, since he is fluent in English. Hyunjin also knows a considerable amount and the rest of them have gotten a lot better recently. (I left this comment on a reaction months ago and thought it might be helpful here)

Yea so this is a QUICK guide, because it's so short it's not gonna be that informative it's just to give you a very basic idea of who stray kids are. The one by Teanosuga is really good tho and she's been a fan for a while. Stray kids have no set positions they just have departments, 3racha= Chan, Han, Changbin are the producing team Danceracha= Lee know, Hyunjin, Felix are the dance team Vocal Racha= Seungmin, I.N. are the vocal team.

Bang Chan is his Korean name , it is his name I don't think you should focus on the main thing too much , there's 3 sub units in the group , the three dancers in the dance racha are the main dancers , and since they all can do everything you can't keep them in flexible places anymore

TeaNoSuga's guide is probably the best one out there at the moment! It is longer and has more reading, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking to learn more about Stray Kids :) Very informative and detailed

A couple things: Chan is born in Korea. He moved to Australia young, and of course moved back to Korea at 13. There isn't really a ranking in the Producer line. 3RACHA (Chan, Changbin & Han) is a cohesive producer unit (as well as being a pre-debut rap unit they formed themselves before Straykids). So all three write and compose, with Chan doing most of the composing, and arranging as well. As the Leader overall he is most in charge of SKZ final product, so you'll find even for those rare projects he doesn't compose (fully or jointly) he is still involved in arranging. But I wouldn't go as far as to say there is a rank like Main, Lead or sub producer in 3RACHA. It's just 3RACHA - and Chan himself will tell you, there is no him without them or them without him. Leeknow is not just the Main Dancer - he is also the Dance Leader. Chan appointed that role to him as he came to JYP already a seasoned dancer and not just his skill, but also his ability to help direct and guide other dancers is top notch. Hyunjin is also Main dancer. Felix did not officially have the 'Main Dancer' position at debut (was Lead Dancer), but in practicality he really is a Main Dancer, as him - Hyunjin and Leeknow form DanceRacha and they are most in charge of the more difficult and centre dance moves. Changbin and Han are both Main Rappers. Seungmin was initially Lead Singer at debut, but since the former member left, he has stepped up and I reckon if JYP hadn't removed their official positions he would have been upgraded to Main Singer. Like Felix though, it is clear the members see him as Main Singer. I personally watched Chan say that exact thing as he was reacting to Seungmin's "Love Poem' (Mayfly) performance on Kingdom. Whoo. This was longer than intended. Anyhoo - while we Stays like to brag that they are all flexible (because its true) - and there are no real fixed positions on JYPE for them (Expect Leader Chan, and Dance Leader Leeknow) I think you will find that the Main positions still hold in how they assign things and who takes responsibility for what. *The main thing though...just expect every member to sing, dance, rap, produce (Hyunjin has started to do that too), write (they all have writer credits) at some point...and do it like they're the 'Main' that role.

@@sof8860 I dont think any statement was released. Like I said, the company eventually removed official positions from its website. I dont think its just for SKZ, but I'm not sure since I dont follow other groups. But yes, the members do still refer to their roles, even if they dont say 'Main' they may say 'I'm in charge of...'. For Main Singer...like I said, Seungmin was not main Singer at debut, but Chan has referred to him as such recently, especially during Kingdom & after. Seungmin himself will usually just say he is in charge of singing, when they introduce themselves on shows/interviews. In the group/company, they refer to Seungmin and I.N as VocalRacha

The man is truly too kind for this world and we really don’t deserve him. 12:50 it used to be their dorm! It's now the dorm of Xdinary hero's but it was their dorm. Around back in late September the boys moved into two separate houses, four members in each. The housing arrangements basically suit who sleeps earliest to latest. Minho, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin in one and Chan, Changbin, Jisung, and Hyunjin in the other

This guide just shows the basic informations about stray kids. Teanosuga's guide is also pretty good but has a few inaccuracies and incorrect informations so I recommend and introduction to: stray kids (2020 edition) by hyunjin nation even tho it's a bit old but it has a looot of informations about the kids' talents and personalities so you're gonna learn a loot from it it's really helpful I recommend you watch it And btw there are officially no fixed positions anymore they're all vocalists dancers and rappers

Felix and Chan are both from Sydney. Felix is more so from the actual city and lives like around the area as the Sydney opera house (from what I've seen on his mom's, nd two sisters Instagram pages) and as for Chan he lives more out in the suburbs about 45 minutes from the city on bus. I have a friend who lives in the next sub urb over from his family house. He has shown his house on a show they did back in 2019. I recommend checking out his little sister on KZbin her name is Hannah Bahng! But anyways yes! Also let me know if you want any of their family members Instagrams I'll be happy to give them to you!

Ok so a more detailed guide would be the one by teanosuga. As it came out in the earlier days of 2021 it’s a little out of date at this point but it still has really good information! The other one that used to always get recommended is one by hyunjin nation that I believe has had a 2021 update as well. I think teanosugas would be the best as it gives you a pretty solid grasp on the basics that f both who they are as people as well as their music as a whole!

i get why you'd think hyunjin was the main dancer haha i was the same when i was new to the fandom. i guess it's because he's the one who had a lot of opportunities to showcase his dancing. and while there's no really a "main dancer" or any official fixed position for any of them, lee know is the one they like to consider the dance leader. he's a really amazing dancer. he used to be a professional dancer before becoming an idol :)

I'm sure someone has already pointed it out but Stray Kids don't have official positions anymore so even though you'll see/hear Seungmin being referred to as the "main vocal" or Changbin and Han as the "main rappers" they all do everything so Chan "not being a main anything" isn't exactly accurate as their actual positions kinda change depending on the song. He's definitely a main vocal in many of them.

As for the positions they don't have completely fixed positions everyone can sing and rap and all members have participated in producing, composing and writing lyrics(but 3racha are the main producers all three of them have a hundred or over a hundred song credits while other members have all under 20). There's danceracha whose dance leader is Lee know but Felix and hyunjin are also main dancers. Lee know is the most experienced dancer as he was in a dance crew for a very long time all of his fellow dance crew members became well known choreographers or dance teachers he himself choreographed the dance for hellavator and was also a dancer for bts he helps the members with dancing and is known for being strict about mistakes. Danceracha have made a song on their own called "wow". There's also vocalracha who are the main vocalists seungmin and I.n(both of them can also rap and have rapped before) their singing is amazing you can find covers of them on their skz records and also solos or unit songs. As for Han he's a main rapper, lead vocalist and producer he's a real alrounder you can hear him rapping and singing in most of their songs "Neverending story" shows his singing skills very well. For Changbin he's a main rapper, producer and vocalist we don't hear him sing as much but his singing is incredible and he shows that in guide versions of their songs but also songs like "cause I like you" or "another day".

Just a few things this guide got wrong, first, Stray Kids don’t have official positions anymore except for leader. No main, lead, or sub. They still have 3racha, danceracha, and vocalracha though. Second, Bangchan wasn’t born in Australia lol, he moved there when he was 10 and stayed for 5 years until he left to be a trainee. And third, Felix’s Korean name is Lee Yongbok. I would also say this guide shows more of their personalities (still a small amount tho) instead of their talent. I would’ve recommended the skzvintage guide, but for some reason it’s not there anymore. Instead I’d recommend the guide by teanosuga, or the one by hyunjin nation. They’re both a bit outdated, and some of the info might be a bit inaccurate but it’s they’re some of the best guides :)

Hello! so Stray Kids have this thing called SKZ-Player and SKZ-record, which are original songs and song/dance covers that they create and release ONLY on KZbin. Which means, that they are NOT released on official music streaming platforms. (though it was announced that we are gonna have an album for them this 2022!) to further explain: 1. It really didn't highlight all their talents cuz if you're super new to them you might now know how well Changbin, Felix, and Hyunjin sing. And that Hyunjin and Lee Know are really great rappers.
