Hey dan I wouldn’t recommend having the torsion keys cranked all the way up, I did that on my truck with a lift key and it was cranked all the way up, yes it makes the truck taller and yes it makes it ride rough BUT it also twists the torsion bars putting pressure to the front which could make it out of alignment and maybe needs another alignment done and it can wear out the parts really quick in the front too like tie rods, ball joints etc etc. so if I was you I would crank them down and invest in a front end lift if that’s what you wanted.
@cmusic524 жыл бұрын
I wanna say Durtymax Jack did that with his 2020 as well at first and noticed it made the ride worse soo he got somethin different soo he could have his better ride back

You can just use dawn to clean the air filter then depending on what the manufacturer says, you either oil it after its dry or just put it back in. I use a bucket and fill it with warm/hot water and dawn. Spray big stuff out of the air filter (in spraying oit first then lightly spray the outside). Put air filter in soap bucket and agitate it by moving it around. Let it sit overnight. Pull filter out, rinse it off. Put filter back in for a few more hrs and then rinse again. Repeat that step till its clean but should be good. Let it dry then oil it if manufacturer says so (any paper air filter oil from car or motorcycle shop will work). Dont over oil it, just a light coat across all of it

As far as the Dash, id honestly wait on that. Get all the other issues fixed, get things back to working order clean up the things you want to clean up, change the color of the door panels, then after all that once its back together and you can see it all, decide if you want to go though with re-doing the dash or not. No point in making more problems until you've fixed your current ones.

So, Small fact. If you know someone at GM Dealer, you might be able to get the hyperflash removed with programming the BCM. They have that ability when a utility bed is on a truck that has LED lighting. However, they have to use a VIN so it's pretty locked down. I remember this from a few years back when I worked at a GM dealer, so I might even be foggy on it but... worth a shot.

Can’t remember what welder you have but you can use a stick welder for TIG welding. You cannot weld aluminum (I’ve heard it’s possible using helium as your shielding gas) with it like that but you can with any type of steel. Just switch the polarity and hook up a scratch start TIG rig you’ll need Argon obviously but it will work. It’s the only way we weld in the field really.

hey dan just a tip for those filters to clean them, i have had those style of filters on mostly every car i own. When i clean them i just use the hose outside or something with medium pressure and then get the air hose and just air all the water out and throw her in the rig. also you dont have to use that oil shit from k&n but you can its just messy and doesnt really do much. So basiclly just wash it with water let it dry for a little bit or blow it out and your good.

It would be dope if you were able to vinyl wrap the interior pieces with like a speckled black star themed wrap to match the headliner. See if Justin would wrap the inside for you, worst comes to worse if you end up changing your mind about it down the line you can change vinyl a lot easier than tearing everything down and repainting it. I think the space theme would look dope and you could wrap the outside space themed too. Makes sense since its so high off the ground you could reach the moon from the roof lol. Space Denali sounds dope to me man.
