One day she was watching that Netflix show “Inside Job” (which is basically an adult cartoon comedy where all these conspiracies are actually true) She watched one episode and was like “LOOK YOU SEE!! There’s a free Mason frame in the background! They’re throwing it right at our faces because they think we’re stupid! Netflix and everybody is evil and think we’re all stupid and won’t notice! I did sound design for a short play festival a while back where one of the plays had a lot of tense silences. Adding a clock and other background noise (the clock is particularly effective since you're a bit more aware of the time passing) is such a good way to accentuate an awkward pause. Definitely not an omen of the end times lol
