You are not that far away from KOMENDA where KING TAKY(TAKYI) was captured and sent to Jamaica as a slave. While in Jamaica he organized a rebellion in 1760 that captured and murdered the British slave owners. That day of rebellion is now a holiday in Jamaica called TAKY'S REBELLION. Also, 60miles away from where you are towards ACCRA is another town called KROMANTSIN where most MAROONS of JAMAICA and SURINAME originated from. There is a DUNGEON there called FORT AMSTERDAM that a lot of Jamaican slaves were gathered before being shipped to CAPE COAST and then to the CARRIBEAN.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
