No, it's called breaking rhythm. Boxers do it all the time. That's why you can't really call it a hesitation because it's so quick. KD's little stops or hesitations before moving again breaks the rhythm.

i dont think he really needs to get buff. just needs to hone his strength. not everyone is gonna be able to hold up a giannis or jokic or embiid in the post. not even those 3 can really stop each other. but wemby needs to hone his strength while managing to keep the same mobility and shooting touch, cuz that tends to go away if you just become buff.

IMHO, I do think he will fill out a bit, but he will probably stay slender. Guys like Wilt and Shaq got much heavier over their career, but I think he will be more like Kareem, where he adds 20 pounds or so, but still looks thin.
