What I love about the first episode is that because his brother said "I want to spend time with my brother", he finally understood that if you can't stop fate, the most you can do is enjoy the time you have together, which is the most important part of life. In the end, his "exit strategy" was to simply enjoy the time left until the moment fate had already planned to take him. That acceptance and fully living in each moment was the main lesson he needed to learn.

I have the exact sentiment as you. My brother died last May, and there would be so many times that he would call me, just to talk, but there were times he had drank way too much and I would be so annoyed with him. I should've spent more time talking to him. It truly is a painful feeling wanting to talk to someone who is no longer with us.

That 3rd one . . . I've actually met a girl much like the character portrayed, without any parallel universe events. She would go off into imagined tangents of intricate complexity, woven into a fabric of presumed future history and stereotypical personality templates, without having even the remotest sense of who I was as an actual person of the moment. It was fascinating in a way, but eventually the novelty wore out . . . 'till the next someone tried to jump through those hoops.

@@Albtraum_TDDC given the context of the other films presented and the title of the collection (Spacetime), I interpreted Click to be that the kids were perhaps transported back in time to when the building they were in was still in operation.
