The Dwarf Kingdoms of the Blue Mountains

Today's video is all about the halls of the Nogrod and Belegost the dwarf Halls of the First Age and the realms people the Firebeards and Strongbeams.

I think at the end of the first age Nogrod and Belogost where not ruined, they were completely wiped out.

I believe that in unfinished tales it is mentioned that at least one of those kingdoms became Thorin’s halls in the third age. At the very least his hall was very close to Nogrod on the third age map

So the Basically they Left their mountain kingdoms and Joined Durins Folk?

Yeah more or less by the 40th year of the second age the halls were completely deserted.

@@lordsofarnor4128 and then they get mad when Goblins and Orcs take over those empty halls. Also I have a Question, I remember playing some LOTR games and there was a Mission in one were you went to the blue mountains to help a group of Dwarves kill a dragon who had taken over their underground Stronghold. Did Durins Folk Take over those old Abandoned Kingdoms or did they make new one like how they did with the Iron hills?

After Smaug took Erebor Thrain and Thorin led the survivors to the blue mountains. When looking at a map of the Silmarillion and the unfinished tales it does look like Thorin’s halls were built in the ruins of Belegost or at least right next to Belegost

@@lordsofarnor4128 no worries mate your scripts are very good, try using “,” and “.” to make small breaks between sentences to get a small breather. There are some tutorials for reading out loud on yt. Good luck friend I’m waiting for the next upload🫡
