To Imperial Knowledge: They should make a mod for Elder Scrolls: Skyrim anniversary edition for PlayStation 4 that you play in a area in Alikr’s desert with sand dunes. The castles in Elder Scrolls online must have accurate castle designs from historical castles in Europe and medieval times. A true castle has a moat and a drawbridge. Why is there no fortresses in Alikr’s desert? Some castles should be on top of a mountain with a stone bridge. You must have defenses against siege towers and battering rams. It also must have defenses against small hand held battering rams. We must be able to fight on horseback in Elder Scrolls online. Elder Scrolls online should be bloody like Skyrim. You should be able to cut people’s heads off in Elder Scrolls online. Alikr’s desert must have some crop fields near Sentinel city in Elder Scrolls online. We should be able to grow crops and build your own house in Elder Scrolls online. You must have cool magical powers.

Since she ascended to Aetherius would that mean that the Dwemer developed an alternate method of soul trap circumventing the ideal masters?

These lore videos are scarily relevant to the Dnd campaign I am running. In about 4 hours I am running a session where a player who is playing a sentient dwarven sphere will be learning about his origins. I planned on revealing he was a unique sphere with a black soul gem at his core. I had no idea that this same thing was actually in the lore! I will be adding Klathzgar's story to the explanation of his origin, with this attempt at preserving the life of his lover being the basis for another dwemers continued experimentation using black souls at the core of automata.

What the title going into this video is: The Lonely Dwemer and His Waifu After seeing it: A More Steampunk Fantasy Twist On Romeo and Juliet The worst part is she had to wait over a thousand years to move on and ascend. I can't think of a worse curse than that.

The fact that this is a story about the feelings of a dwemer its quite interesting since the dwemer are described as having an intelect so large that feelings should be meaningless for them So the fact that this race that saw themselves as equal to the divines has enough love and compation to a "lesser being" to the point of dying of grief its quite interesting
@SirFrogsley3 ай бұрын
I feel like that depiction of the Dwemer being cold and emotionless must come from in-universe historians inaccurately describing them, either from simply misunderstanding them, or because other societies had previously dehumanized them for their "profane" culture and what was seen as affronts to to the gods, resulting in a forever skewed image of what they were really like. The cultures they interacted with the most and which would have had a huge influence on the world's subsequent perception of them were the extremely hostile anti-elf Nords and Alessian Order, and the Chimer who, after Red Mountain, would have plenty of reasons to demonize them. But the few Dwemer we meet and hear about contradict this image. There's this guy and his automaton wife. Radac is a *very* sassy grouch who gets irritated with the Nerevarine. Yagrum might come across as very matter-of-fact but he stills shows excitement and exclaims when you bring him some quest items. Dumac was best bros with Nerevar and was said to have loved him, and (this part is a stretch because it's probably Tribunal Temple lies) according to some in-game sources he was easily offended, suggesting he could have been irrational or perhaps prideful. Whatever the case, they definitely weren't emotionless. Personally I think the Dwemer having strange and incomprehensible Vulcan brains is a bit overstated in the unofficial lore. Maybe their culture valued controlling their emotions. Sure, their scholars and philosophers might have taken that to an extreme degree. But I'd say they were "normal". Still strange compared to other cultures and of course smart as hell, but "normal".
@WASDLeftClick24 күн бұрын
This could be like the Vulcans in Star Trek. They’re not naturally beings of pure logic, in fact their passions are notably more intense than most other humanoids. They just follow a path of intense self-discipline both physical and mental intended to control these extreme emotions. It’s a cultural practice they consider very important because the traditions were created to stop a brutal conflict on Vulcan thousands of years ago that nearly drove the Vulcans to extinction. They do have emotions, they just wouldn’t dare express them in public.

One of the most interesting things is that he somehow trapped her soul inside the machine without it going to the soul cairn. Regular soul gems aren't even supposed to be concious, but this one was. May have been some obscure dwemer technique.
