I'm very glad they changed the design for Lawan. The way they inserted her face model in the game was a big downgrade from Rosario. I personally see no problem with this, it is a great skin.

@@fantapro23 Genuinely I’m glad you’re happy. I do agree her face model looks rough a lot of the time, but at the same time knowing how racist the Chinese Dying Light community is, in my eyes this comes off as a little weird. But that’s just my perspective, it’s nothing to lose sleep over

Not just a face model change but a race swap? Imagine making Aiden black for a black history month event how that would go down 😭 I wonder if using an Asian face model is to try and get away with claiming it's for the event and minimise backlash of erasing Lawan. Feels like yellow face almost lol

@@backboardfilms I get that, but Aiden has a Chinese remodel already (Legendary Dragon Warrior outfit) and Crane had Khaleel (Harran Fighters outfit) which changed his skin colour. Why would this new optional outfit for Lawan be any different? Why were those 2 outfits for Aiden and Kyle accepted without a second thought and this one's not? I'm of the mindset that either all race swaps are okay, or none at all, you can't pick and choose. Also, for clarification, I am not arguing, but merely bringing up my opinion. Tone does not translate well over text so I feel an explanation is necessary, especially with such a Volatile subject such as this.

I certainly hope this isn't the last event for Dying Light 1 but if it is I hope it does go out in a bang and I'm also hoping that Crane and Aiden meet in Dying Light the Beast. 😊🙏

Honestly I would love a “10th anniversary” toggle mode the gives party hats to all the enemies, replaces all the blood with confetti, special rainbow weapons, maybe a reintroduction of all event blueprints that have a five percent drop chance, as well as change the base firework to a much louder and colorful one and maybe a banner hanging off the the tower that says “Thanks for 10 years!!”

I believe we will get a gameplay demo for Dying Light The Beast because people who saw the demo last year said it might release for everyone but they first need to work out the bugs so the demo is perfect even if it's 5 or 10 minutes that would be enought and at the end could be the full release date(Edit:This didnt age well huh)

I hope we get community mod support like Skyrim, Techland had it good with the trailers and threw it all out the window, and even with a considerable amount of updates they just didnt make the cut, so having the E3 definitive mod for console players as well would tremendously give the people the satisfaction of the game we were promised

I mean I see no problem with the Lawan skin her normal in game model isn't really that great (it's not doing any justice to the voice actress) so I am happy with this skin, honestly I still pray we will get a official E3 skin for Lawan as that is still my favourite design for her.

Not a fan of raceswapping but the reason why ppl arent okay when characters are swapped to white is because mainstream western media is already filled to the brim with white people. Every single game you play, protag is a white dude. Movies you watch, protag's a white dude. I dont like ppl raceswapping white characters but it makes sense why they do it, to feel represented and relate to the character more, especially when they're from a part that lacks reps. But white ppl got no reason to do it because western medias has always catered to them.

The problem however is the Chinese Dying Light 2 community is extremely racist, with videos trashing her appearance getting millions of views, so I just think adding that new model is in bad taste. At the end of the day, people will do whatever they want regardless so it is what it is

Even those groups you see as problematic criticize the poor modeling in games (which you can understand as being not good looking). They also mention that Rosario real face is not like that. There are always individuals with extreme statements in every different place, especially when most of what they oppose is DEI rather than any form of racist. Characters like CJ and Franklin from the GTA series are very popular among Chinese young players. Repeatedly stating that "the Chinese player community is full of extreme racist" only makes your viewpoint seem biased and less persuasive

I feel like they have to do something big for this because The updates have been slowed down for a dying light 2 im not complaining about that because they are working on alot of projects like The beast And the Upcoming Tower raids & mod Supporting For dl2 and then after They're done making the beast Techland will work on dying light 2 some more i hope They polish it a bit i hope they fix the crystal white Quest! And the audio bug and so on alot of stuff has to happen before they move on in the future of this franchise! So the anniversary update has to deliver Go all in with This update because I think this is the last update until they move on with a beast and after that they're going to do more to dl2 that's what ive heard 🤷🏼

I hated the loadout system, im entitled to use the weapons that i worked for, they can easily make it harder without taking our stuff, or they can just add a version with and without our stuff, it was so fun to use my guns in towerraid and just all of my weapons while listening to that cool music...using loadouts makes it so boring
