Awwww cute kiddos! Your granddaughter looks sassy! 🐘

These are all my kids (the three laughing are adults now and accuse me of being much easier on the two younger ones. There is a ten year difference between my oldest daughter and my youngest). I am actually jealous of my school mates because so many of them have grands and I don't (and probably won't for a long time🥺)

I love your answer for the greatest English writer! My first thought was a writer from England, but I love the different interpretation. Oh my gosh, Brando Sando. That is a new name for him I haven't heard yet, and I love it! I have read a couple of his books and did not like them, but my husband and his family loves Brando Sando so we talk about him a lot! The pictures of your daughter are so fun and cute!

Loved seeing the pictures of your kids; they’re gorgeous! I would say the most popular English novelist is Agatha Christie; year after year, she gains popularity and there are always new adaptations being made of her books with top actors starring. She’s just such a clever writer; everyone talks about her on Booktube! 😊📚

Toni Morrison is a great choice! Great editing!! I’ve not read Sanderson and I’m not drawn to him either. Griffith and Sabine sounds and looks amazing! Your kids are beautiful!!!!! I have something to look forward to - my kiddos are 5 and 3. Great video, Katrina!

Thank you! I wonder what your kids' version of mine craft will be! For my older ones it was all obscure anime and older computer games and I just had to grin and bear it 😂 I now have great relationships with my adult kids. Well one is super insular and I want to always be talking to them etc but that's a me issue.

@@KatrinaReads7 Oh no!!!! My kiddos already love videos games that I have zero interest in! Ek!!!!!! You give me hope that I’ll enjoy my kids when they grow up. ☺️

Fascinating take on the E Tag. The Griffin and Sabine book sounds amazing. When I asked about English novelist I was thinking about from England, but the prompts are open to interpreting how you wish. I read Beloved in August, it was a stunning heart wrenching novel. The kids look delightful. Our Elene is 8 and I don't get some of the stuff she watches on KZbin. But it's important to keep the dialogue open. Thanks for tackling the tag :)

I have only watched the Beloved movie and so I know what I'm in for when I read it next year 😭. Thanks for making the tag!

I haven't read any Toni Morrison yet but I'm so excited to get to her work 🥰 I am a Brando Sando fan. 🐘 (Your kids are all adorable and they sound very smart, and you sound like a wonderful caring mum with their ever changing interests.) Greatest English Novelist? Maybe George Eliot!

Toni Morrison is by the best novelist in my humble opinion, I was just talking about some of her works with my mother yesterday.

Recency bias or not, Morrison is the greatest!! I want to read House of Leaves so badly! I'm just anxious about finding the proper edition. I recently read an experimental novel called the Mezzanine where 30% of the book's length is footnotes, and the entirety of the plot is just a man going up an escalator.
@KatrinaReads73 жыл бұрын
That sounds so crazy! Did you like it (the Mezzanine). I didn't know there were different editions to be had of House of Leaves. I kept hearing about had no interest but then I saw it on Amazon for $10 and was like why the hell not?!
@CestKevvie3 жыл бұрын
@@KatrinaReads7 I did enjoy Mezzanine! Some parts got repetitive but otherwise it was a fun experiment. Apparently House of Leaves has a variety of editions that have different levels of immersion, like certain words being different colored. Did you get the ebook? It says in the preview that it’s the Full Color version but the preview doesn’t seem like it.

I bought an actual copy...shocking I know! But I watched Books and LaLa's Literally Dead Book Club's livestream and they were discussing strategies on how to read the book so I figured I needed the physical book.

I thought English meant from England, but that could just be because everyone I have seen do this video chose that haha.😅🐘🐘

Yeah, Jim told me after the fact that he meant England but these tags are up for interpretation (I think he was just being nice to me 🤭🥴)
