I have tried so hard to wake up at 4am but I failed, And it was my fault because I always watch videos on my phone and I end up going to sleep super late. I am ready to start again and kill those bad habits. Lord help me. Can you give us some tips about how is your night to go sleep at 8pm? And what do you do at 3am? 😅 I am so excited! Thank you! Blessings!

Well, at least you know what you need to change! That will make it easier. I agree that putting my phone up at dinner really helps me a lot with bedtime. I try and get my phone out of sight and out of mind once we start eating supper. As to bedtime, we begin our bedtime routine with our sons immediately after dinner 90% of the time. So around 6:30 they start baths, etc. I read to them and sing over each of them and pray for them and they can have their lights on and read quietly after I leave their room around 7:30 or so. I hop on my nighttime routine at that point and get myself in bed. I am super low maintenance, so my routine is a quick face wash, brush teeth, and put on my gown. Then I pray and go to sleep. My husband helps A LOT at night. He closes down the kitchen (loads the dishwasher after dinner) and helps with the boys' baths.

This is so good. It seems to be a trend with me that I struggle more with waking early when the days start to get shorter and then around New Years I decide that I can't live like that anymore. I was already planning to get back in this routine again starting tomorrow because it IS absolutely wonderful to have this time in the morning. I am so excited that you are running this challenge to help me get back on the horse!! Here's to a great first day tomorrow!!

I signed up, downloaded the booklet and am excited to join in :) Quick question, if you go to bed at 9pm, then wake up from 2-4am, do you go back to bed, or have a nap? Hubby asking to ensure I get enough sleep lol (and praying about my particular time, but genuinely curious if you are okay with 5 hours of sleep...going to watch video too to see if you get into that :) )

So excited to do this with you, Rachael! Yes and no. Haha. 3 days a week I try and get in bed and asleep by 8pm. This is because I teach english online at 2:30am and have to get up at 2am on those mornings. The rest of the week, I go to be and I am asleep by 9pm and I wake when I wake. I almost never sleep past 4am. So I assume my body does well on 7 hours which is within the normal range for healthy adults (7-9 hours). I nap occasionally, but definitely not daily.
