@@retr0_fps the way TTAA works requires that kind of play style to be successful, especially on the level he plays at. If you try to go for a dogfight you're gonna get jumped so hard. Thus, the only way to get this level of success in such an environment is to control who can engage you and when, thus, being a rat.

Oh and one (two) more things: I did it all in Air RB I took a single gunpod on the right to train my brain to compensate for the displacement of the F-15’s gun from the centerline. BUT BEFORE YOU CALL ME INSANE LET ME EXPLAIN 1. Using just one actually allows you to keep yourself airframe limited, therefore not throwing off your performance as much 2. I don’t have to cope with DEFA having no ammo (I love DEFAs in every other respect though) 3. When I fire my gun my plane wiggles all over the place so I compensate for my terrible accuracy by shooting everywhere in a 15 degree arc Oh and also you can actually trust the airbrakes to slow you down in a dive without throttling down which is nice (It takes a while for the canard to throttle up)

Although the Israeli lineup is quite strong, thanks to the AIM-9M on the F15A and F16D, i would not say that it is the best, i think the crown goes to the US lineup that has a better endurance and more planes with radar missiles, allowing medium to long range engagements. The US can get at best, if you are ready to spend a lot of money in this lineup : F16C, F16A ADF, F16A, F15A, F14B, F14A, F20, F4S, F4J and F5E, if you only want fighter, but i would advise to replace one or two of theses by some attackers in case ground pounding is needed. In the other hand the Israeli lineup can have at best : F15A, F16D, F16A, Kurnass 2000, Kfir C.7, F4E, Kfir Canard, A-4N Ayit, and if you're mad enought to spend 80 bucks on the Market for a plane that is not a premium, the Kfir C.2. Although the quantity can be there the quality of theses plane fall way faster than the US lineup, and while only two of the Israeli planes has good radar missiles, the US has bewteen 6 and 8, depending on if you bought the F4S and F20. Having a BVR capability in Arcade is something to not be underestimated, especially given the fact that, contrary to realistic, there is no multipathing : just hugging the ground will not save you from a R27ER or a AIM-7F. After i watched one of your videos, i decided to try arcade for myself, with the only remotely good top tier-ish plane i have, which is the Electric Lightning. And i got to say that all you said about Kfir here applies to it, but magnified. Its the ultimate whale, that you can escape from everyone with, but cant really attack too much. (Also its always the fastest in the lobby (yes its faster than f104) ). So i wonder what do you think about it.

In all my hours I’ve never gotten more then 7 air targets , this guy talking about double digits , btw the ayit is the next jet you should talk about , it’s too good , yes you can only go 650mph but don’t turn your wings will rip , but with those couple of bad things you get to take 4 missiles 2 aims and 2 shafrirs and you take a gun pod because it doesn’t ruin flight performance , the ayits engine is a lot better then the earlier a4s level flight up to 650 is very quick , you will beat most afterburner jets to the battle if you don’t climb
