Love your recipes and your channel. I've made this twice and it turned out great each time. Someone in the comments mentioned that they had more cake batter than the pan could hold. I found out the hard way that Betty Crocker makes the Triple Fudge cake mix in two different sizes. The one from the regular grocery store was 13.25 oz; and the one from Wal-mart was 15.25 oz. The smaller box was perfect for my Nordic Ware Anniversary bundt pan. The larger box had a little too much batter, so I just didn't use it all.

I just finished making this started yesterday and let me tell you it was delicious the only thing I would change is listening to you and saving some of the milk for after the cake was finished I added it all at once and the cake was a little too wet but the flavor was there will be making it again

I swear just yesterday I was wondering if a Tres Leches flan cake was possible, so it's funny you post this now. I usually make a vanilla flan cake and sometimes chocolate but have wanted to try other flavors too. Strawberry sounds good but nobody in the house wants to try it. I want to try this one!

Guys to make ur life easier you are able to pour the chocolate on top of the flan. You don’t have to cook the flan then take it out just to pour the chocolate, it will separate in the oven, it comes out just as good! Your Welcome!

Yesss you can definitely do that too, I personally don’t like over baked cake and like a clean separation between the flan and cake when you pour it both at same time, it looks messy (just my opinion ☺️) but if you don’t mind either one bake for 1hour and 20 minutes same process 😉

Just made this with red velvet cake. Waiting for it to cool so we can add 3 leches. Our sugar cooled before we could fully spread it on the pan and we forgot to cover with foil so we will have to make another one after we eat this one. 😋😆

Looks soooo good! I've tried 2 of these cakes already and have failed both times! 😥 I think my issue was I wasn't letting them cool completely before turning them over, I think I will give it 1 more try hopefully I can nail this one.

Ohhh noooo!!!! Yes you have to give it 1-2 hours to cool down before turning If it’s not a tres leches cake, I flip it after 1 hour max 😊

you should always use a colander and strain the flan mixture when transferring to bundt pan or to regular pan if you are just making flan.
