I’m 60 years old and my brows are really thin. This has totally changed how I look …. for the better!

“Seeing is believing.” You are a naturally beautiful woman and I wouldn’t even notice your thin eyebrows if I saw you out and about. There is a stark difference between your finished brows and I agree that the new method by Jasmine is best! With that, I have a newfound hope that my over-tweezed brows will look somewhat as natural as yours. Thank you for your transparency and kindness. 🤗

My brow color must be like yours. Taupe is a little too dark (even for my dark brows peppered with white hairs (😣). Blonde pencils are too yellow and clash with my cool/neutral skin tone. I’ve finally found a #3 neutral brown brow mascara from Benefit that actually covers my white hairs where no other lighter color would. This issue is a little different than yours but my brows are thin as well with expression wrinkles going through the tails! Thank you for the tips! Your brows look great!

Your brows look amazing! As a 65-year old Anglo woman with fine lines around my eyes the eyebrow struggle is real. Recently, I’ve been using the same technique for my brows as described in this video with great results. If I may, I have a couple of tips. Firstly, eyebrow/eyelash serums help tremendously. You don’t need 2 separate products. All roads lead to Rome. If the use of a serum doesn’t fit your budget you can try Castor oil. This allows you to brush your brows up, thereby giving the brows a fuller look. Secondly, how you use a primer is very important. I can’t stress this enough. Press your primer into the skin. Don’t swipe. This allows your primer to do a much better job of filling in your fine lines and wrinkles. I hope these tips will help some of you.

Kathleen Johnson, thank you for your tips. At the age of 73 I struggle with barely eyebrow hair. I will try your method. I use castor oil to remove mascara & penciled eyebrows. I feel one of the most important thing is the correct color in eyebrow pencil. Will look for eyebrow serum.

I'm happy you posted this, I've been doing this same routine on my eyebrows for many years and it really opens up the eye and draws the focus upward. Unfortunately, I've seen some women getting microbladed eyebrows and they don't even put the fake hairs on the top, which then draws the eye down. It's best to always accentuate the top of the brow as the main focus to give a more lifted youthful appearance. Kudos to you and a great video and educating women on how to look better. Your brows look great !

I had powder brows done last August and I cannot recommend them enough. They have brought definition to my face, they are the best ‘beauty’ thing I have ever done. I loved them so much, I had the eyeliner done. I can now get up on a morning, wash and moisturise my face, put on under eye corrector and blusher and I’m good to go. I was told they will start to fade after 12to 18 months but mine are as vibrant as they were a year ago, love them!

Thanks for this tutorial! TIP- my brows literally stopped growing years ago. I had no hair past the arch & they were also very sparse. I started using organic castor oil on them every night (1 drop is enough for both) massage it in & in the AM take your spooly brush & brush them backward (every direction) end by combing how u want them to lay. This is stimulating & helps remove dead skin helping new hairs break through. In 1 month I had new hairs coming in & by 6 mos my eyebrows were back!!! Its been years & I still use that every night. RESIST the urge to pluck- it may look like it will be out of place, but once they fill in & lay properly together, the shape will start forming. I also use 1 drop IN each eye & massage into my lashes. I had dry eye problems & this has helped so much. It's thick so do it right before bed, not daytime. It's full of antioxidants & nourishing to the eyes. Be sure it's ORGANIC (hexane free)

I have a great tip that I hope will be useful to anyone with hooded or ageing sagging skin above the eye or literally no brows: 1: Look for the direction of how the nose flares into the brow on the forehead, draw a small, light vertical tilted line outward, this widens the eye area, very flattering. Use a micro-pencil (Primark Brow Sketch, Technic or W7 at Beauty Outlet, all inexpensive), start no lower than where the hair begins. 2: then on the lower edge of the vertical line draw an angled joined light arch outwards, BUT notice where the pupil is and finish the arch slightly further outwards before turning the head to the side slightly, to draw the baseline of the tail. 3: Draw the tail without dipping down, keep it level and out (this stops drooping outer corners which optically looks tired and ageing), at this point you'll resemble a Klingon from Startrek but you'll have your template. 4: Now go back and draw whispy hair-like strokes from the line (not all at once), I do it in 3 levels, fill 1 line of hair strokes, then from that 1st level draw a 2nd level of hair strokes and then from the 2nd level draw another line of hair-like strokes, on the 3rd level the brow should be almost complete. 5: Wipe off the sharp inner starting point to a gentler point. Don't put hair strokes beneath the original line, keep it clean and if you THINK HAIRSTROKES as you draw them, you'll create HAIR not lines, DON'T rush and PRACTICE makes perfect. You'll end up with a lifted very convincing hair-like brow. Hope this helps us ladies with next to no brows Xx

Just recently this year in fact my daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, was told she would lose all body hair . And obviously this was so hard to imagine for her . Bless her she was so strong and seemed some help. Before she started to lose any hair ,and before CHEMO a started she had MICRO BLADDING done. Which was great. It shaped her brows she still had and I could not tell any thing had been done fab shape , and as she started to lose them it did not show because the micro bladding was in place. Luckily she didn’t lose all her hair but it did get thin. I recommend this to anybody who hates shape of their brows , or has none. It truly is fabulous.

Thats amazing how much difference you get from something so simple!! Brows are not a problem for me now, my brows are fair, and I only plucked them minimally for shaping, then some years ago, I had microblading done, they give my brows definition which shapes my face, its been the best make-up move I've ever done. Just recently, I have 2 white hairs, so I'm probably going to have to use something to colour them (at the moment, I just pluck these 2 hairs!)

Recently, I discovered temporary brow tattoos. They don't look "natural" They look more like micro bladed brows, but they have been a game changer for me! (I over plucked and over bleached my brows in the 1990's) I have very sparse, light brows, naturally. The brow stickers look a lot better than anything I could draw on, and I highly recommend them to those like me with very sparse to no eyebrows. They also save me a lot of time in the mornings. I don't miss drawing them on at all. Edit: Your brows look great, Nisha ❤

The new technique you’re using is great, I’m just not that great at doing my brows but will give it a go before I look at micro blading. Thank you for sharing

🤣 Me too!!! KZbin must have found all of us who ever complained about our brows 😅 Yeah, it's the same person, her name is Jasmine kidd, she is REALLY good. I've been doing the same thing with brushing down & filling the top, straighten the arch a bit & adding more tail. It really works, I just have to remember to do it before I start doing it the wrong way.🙄 I'm also blonde, blue with icy white highlights (Polish) and after lots of experimenting I found Urban Decay Brow Blade in "Cool Cookie" it is a great shade (duel ended with the ink pen & regular pencil on the other side). AND the best strongest brow gel I've ever tried is Too Faced "Fluff & Hold", I would run out to replace it if I lost it! I have clear but I think it comes in shades as well, it holds like laminating but doesn't feel yucky. Also I use Benefit brow highlighter pencil (pretty light pink on one side & radiant cream on the other), I use it every time because it cleans up but also gives a slight highlight without looking like too much. I mainly use the pinkish matte side. I really want to try Benefit's new brow powder to see if it stays on, just to fill in some areas and then draw hairs up with the ink pen. I'm so happy you did this video, brows are so important!! 🤍 Ps... Are you getting the new Natasha Denona "I need a Nude" palette?? I keep hesitating, they are my shades but so many midtone bronze shimmers and I like a light shimmer that pops!! IDK 😶 I think you'd love the new Chanel blush in rose beige (plum shade) as much as I do! It's very unique & worth the spurge because of the shade imo. 😉

That looks wonderful. I always " over pluck" my brows and get too impatient to let them finish growing out but they always come out looking uneven in shape and size and I can never get the pen, pencil, brush, spoolie. . .whatever I use it looks like I just colored in my skin. Then I brush them out and the real hairs stand out because they are longer than the make up brow. Then I trim them and it turns into a big mess!!! I'm going to follow your technique and hope this is the answer.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to check out that channel. My eyebrows are seriously lacking due to my thyroid disease. I love how natural your brows look.

great tutorial! Just as an educational tip the brows sit high due to botox only in the center for the forehead or glabella area ask your injector to extend it over and let them know you have lines above the brow arch. It will only take 1-2 units and will settle the brows down instantly. Usually when you get botox in the glabella area and in central forehead this happens. also, from compensatory response from trying to open eyes when the lids are heavy. Your injector can usually see you and get you in for a quick touch up. But I do love the shape and brow pencil tips!

Thank you for an interesting video. You are right, your brows look so much better with your new method. What a difference. I will naturally also watch some of the videos Jasmine has uploaded. My problem is this: I seem to have plucked my brows too much in my youth and thus I now find them too narrow. Unfortunately one of them is slightly higher than the other. Because of that, I use a pen to paint hairs and a line under my right-hand side brow, but above the left side one. This way they at least look matching. Stay happy. Regards from northern Europe.

I just bought another brow henna Refectocil 3.1. I recommend it. You need to buy the developer for it too, to mix it with the tiniest amount and put it on your brows with a q-tip. I put it maybe for 2 mins and it look very natural, but has a good color. It lasts for few weeks.
