I did this project a week ago as a Father’s Day gift from the tutorial you did on a Live. It did come out AMAZING! Nobody believed I made it myself. The most frustrating part was trying to get the freezer paper to the doormat. I used a lot of straight pins and a lot of patience. Eventually I got it all stuck down. A regular brush worked so much better than the stencil brush for working the paint into the fibers.

I would love to win your cricut giveaway. i have lost my job due to covid 19 and had trouble finding work at home job for about a year now. i am also helping in taking care of a sick aunt since October 2020 until now. She had a stroke and bed ridden since it happened. Crafting on my 2nd hand/used cricut joy has been my "escape" from this hard reality. I use it to earn a little by selling mugs with decals. I love making doormats! But instead of acrylic paint I use the spray Flex Seal in black! So much more durable than paint!
