I bought a E46 after watching your video, I like the mods. But yesterday I took the car to valorline to do oil change they check my coolant and added some coolant in, they said it was all compatible coolant 50/50, do you think it’s ok to run that coolant in my car or should I flush my cooling system ?

I buy bmw blue coolant from amazon that is premix and add the distilled water to it for the 50/50 and then put it in my e46. I worked at a quick lube place before and they will tell you anything for an upsell lol.

Id typically say its best not to mix coolants because companies add specific additives to their coolants to meet the OEM standards and some might vary between brands. also depends how much the mechanic added. overall you probably wont notice a difference but overtime using the wrong coolant can lead to premature damage to your cooling components. id suggest only running the OEM BMW Blue coolant in these E46s
