I bought your book from 1 - 6 but have not used them because I am not sure which one to practice if I just want to improvise:)

Thanks for buying them! I take it you mean the six Piano Packs? What I would do is go through all six but just start by picking out the improvisation exercises - give me a shout if you have any questions/need help with any of them!

I am looking to purchase my 1st keyboard as I want to learn how to play, what would be the best to purchase for learning to play the piano? Cheers
@BillHilton2 жыл бұрын
Big question, Martin! The ideal would be something with 88 keys, touch-sensitivity and a sustain pedal (ideally a soft pedal, too). If you look for something that calls itself a "digital piano" rather than a "keyboard", you won't go far wrong. Not sure of your price range, but I the best value-for-money on the market is the Roland FP-30.

@@BillHilton very big question haha, I was looking at starting small maybe about £200 to 250 max, I just want something that I can get a feel for and see if it's for me if you know what I mean, cheers for the reply

@@martinallaway9342 No problem Martin! For that sort of money you can pick up some playable pianos new (Casio and Donner and probs the brands to look at) and it might be worth having a look on eBay - a couple of hundred quid could get you a second hand Roland or Yamaha in decent nick. Let me know how you get on!

Hi Bill. I just bought your e-book bundle. I taught myself piano about one year and a half and my level is in between beginner and intermediate I think. Which one should I practice first? Seven Studies or How to really play the piano?

Thanks very much for buying them! Given the stage you’re at, I’d take a look at How To Really… first, because it’ll introduce you to ideas you can then make use of when you’re using the others books. Have fun, and give me a shout if you have any questions!
