I have been doing a cash flow budget for 10 years now. I now own a home outright and have zero debt. I’m not rich by any means but not having to be a slave to a 9 to 5 is priceless. Debt and surplus deficits hold so many people back.

Building wealth from nothing involves consistent saving, disciplined spending, and strategic investments. Begin by creating a budget to track expenses and identify areas for savings. Prioritize paying off high-interest debt and establishing an emergency fund. As you build a foundation, start investing in low-cost options like index funds, and focus on continuous learning and improving your skills for better income opportunities.

Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

The way you encourage people to view personal finance like a business really resonated with me. It made me think about the planning fallacy, where we underestimate the time and effort it takes to achieve our goals. A family member of mine always thought they could save ‘later,’ but once they started treating their finances like a business, with clear goals and monthly tracking, their perspective completely shifted. Your advice to use tools like the balance sheet is a game-changer for those who struggle with planning

The avg. American is having a tough time doing so, I know I am not alone. There are others in same position as me. By certain statistics: 22% of americans have no retirement savings. 64% are worried that they will not have money in latter years while 47% of adults who are not yet retired think they have to work part-time in retirement. How can I best grow the 100k I have saved seperately outside retirement access which of course had depleted over the years?

Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

I definitely share your sentiment about these firms. Finding financial advisors like *Marisa Michelle Litwinsky* who can assist you on things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.

I agree that it’s important to know the reasons you’re working toward good finances. I also have my own business, so I’m comfortable running my own finances in a similar way. I have my own spreadsheet with the same type of info as you listed. And I also like how you encouraged small savings to get in the habit to create larger savings later. It was a solid video!

@@VincentChan I've been working Overnight as a stocking associate at Walmart. Today actually marks 1 month of working there, and I'd say it's pretty chill for the most part, some parts can get stressful but that's just making sure you have everything done and out of the way for customers when the store opens and being able to clock out on time.

Wait... If you miss the moon, you don't end up amongst the stars... You will just end up between the earth and the moon... I mean, yeah anywhere in space is technically amongst the stars, but if you are saying that, then you are already amongst the stars, so shooting for the moon doesn't change that... Was he being sarcastic, or was astronomy not one of his strong suits? ;-)
