Nice, my question is as follows, why did you not just add the boarder with the main embroidery instead of using the water soluble then only adding the boarder ?.

This is so he doesnt have to cut around the border! If he would have done the border on the twill, he would have had to cut around the satin stitch leaving a small amount of fabric around the satin. That extra thick water soluble holds like a thin piece of fabric, but you can push the patch out of it, giving it the "marrow" edge look that patch makers use with marrow machines.

Love all your videos btw. My question is when I do a patch I request it to be like an appliqué so that I can trim etc. do you think having the sketch as a background is necessary I usually request not to have it? Also what twill because I got some from online and it’s flimsy.

Hi Romero! Your videos are awesome, I'm learning a lot from you! I'm trying to do Iron on Patches, but for some reason, the stick appear to be non definitive... I've double checked, and it is... it should work, but I'm doing something wrong... any tips on what can be that I'm doing wrong? I've put the stick with Iron for 30 seconds on patche, then I've tried to stick on my t-shirt for 30 seconds again... but for some reason, it detaches very easy few minutes later...

Thank you for this message! Yes, a big question, Tajima or Ricoma. Price vs Reputation. Really its a matter of opinion, but I would break it down like this; if your on a tight budget, Ricoma is good, it will get the job done, and with everything dialed in it can easily compete with the Tajima. Now, Tajima is a little more pricey, but craftsmanship and quality is out of this world. I have the one with the automatic presser foot, so it leaves 3d puff super, super clean.

Great video! I am assuming the tack down/satin stitch at the end are part of a completely seperate digitizing file right? Would be very helpful to see how that is created to ensure a perfect tack down/ satin along the edge of the patch
