The EASIEST Way to Dremel A Deer on to A Wooden Sign!!!

For This project I painted the engraved lines white. This is more challenging then painting the lines black because the stain can bleed into the white paint at the end. To solve this problem I ended up using Q-tips to apply the stain.
Items used for this project:
- Dremel 100 with Dremel Flex Shaft
- Black and Decker BDERO600 Orbital sander
- Minwax Dark Walnut
- Minwax Polyurethane

Excelente proyecto muy bien desarrollado y mejor ejecutado , un trabajo muy fino , es como una incrustacion de cola blanca , tendría que probar con alambre de cobre o aluminio si la madera es oscura , realizado un surco con la Dremel lo más ajustado posible al diámetro del cable , incrustarlo y pegarlo con pegamento rápido , después una pasada de lijadora y queda chulísimo , gracias por compartir tanto ingenió y conocimientos , un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón (Galicia) 🤓 🛠️ 🔝

Out of curiosity as I'm kinda new to wood carving still, why did you go the order that you did? Carve, paint, stain versus stain, carve, paint? Looks great!

This allowed me to sand over the top after I put the paint in the lines, making the painted lines look close to perfect. If I were to put paint in the lines after I stained it, I would have to be really careful not to get any paint on the stained part.

That being said, I could have stained and then carved (leaving out the paint). This would have gotten a different look though.
