The wonderkid description applies to anyone under the age of 20 and a ca of 135+, it doesn't give any indication of their potential and these players are often very expensive so you should be careful.

Correct I just go to national teams youngest players Brazil Japan France and Spain Edit USA in the future gets really good wonderkids every save in the future

Yeah you obviously need to scout them but in a lower league save almost any wonderkid could be worth signing if you can get them cheaply enough

true i manage brazil and their sub 23-sub19s have lots of wonder kids with a potential of 180+-170 most of them are wingers tho

I wish there were a way to filter via Media Description. I can give some other tips too: - Ignore players with "Young" in their media description as they are generally the worst youngsters. - Besides "Wonderkid" and "Promising", take a look at young players with a "normal" Media Description (e.g. just "Striker"). - Take a look at players with Senior International Caps at a very low age. I found a wonderkid in FM22 just because he was Syria's Key Player at 16.

Lower ranked national teams are definitely a good place to find not necessarily the best wonderkids, but definitely proven young players if there happens to be one that spawns there. One of my academy players recently chose to represent Lebanon and I'm looking forward to him being key for them ^^

I normally send lots of scouts out. Then player search, add minumum potential between 4-5 star. Then rank them in order of cheapest. Got tons of amazing deals for quality young players and a few wonderkids doing this

In my Donetsk Career, Feb 2024. found a 19 y/o anan khalaily thats 4 star abiity (3.5 in RM which I play a 3-4-1-2) from Maccabi Haifa. Transfer values only 1.7 Million 💀 I managed to negotiate to get him for 3.2 million.

If they're not already good players, their potensial reytings are not reliable. If they are already good players, they will probably be expensive. To sum up, you should spend some money to build a great team.

@@Iyosef i found some players by myself in 2028-2029 season on fm24, found a boy called Patricio Mendosa (18years old), he was free transfer and only 150k salary. Sold him 1 season later to Aston Villa for 5 million, and after the purchase he's worth between 36 to 50M. Without any in game editor or any tool. Same for a guy called Nectar Triantis (27), got him for free and sold him 2-3 years later for 4M, now worth 11M. The average sellings per player on my team since them was close to 200k i guess or even lower.

​@@Iyosefthe only reliable way to get "cheap" wonderkid before any big team notice is manually scout u18/u20 national team player from top 30 nations. It definitely a lot of hassle to manually judge and eliminate bad one but it definitely faster than recruitment focus.

Looking for a new guy, if the media describes them as wonderkid then by the time he joins my club his potential won't drop right? I'm fairly new to this

@@allegrifan4933potential never changes, but many players never reach their full potential, due to bad personalities or insufficient facilities. Star ratings are also not reliable as they depend on your staffs judgement of potential and are also in relation to the rest of your team

Probably it's because star ratings are relative to the league you're playing. For example 1 star player in the premier league would have 5 stars when you bring him to league two or league one

The best way to know their potential should be the coach description since the description don't change at all even when you're at the 3rd division

It's still a good way to "find" them. Like I scout all the player in the NXTgen list that appears every year and usually my scouts have only scouted a few of them. Sometimes you can get a decent deal even on discovered players.

The easiest way for me is wait for the NxGN awards and buy them from there, since my scouts cant find absolutely anything, brazilian scout 20/20 in Brazil 5 grey stars actual, 3 yellow potential and CANT FIND A SINGLE 4 STAR PLAYER AT LEAST, NOT ONE, IN ALL BRAZIL, IN A FKN YEAR!!!!
