Get this simple job fixed yourself with minimal tools.
Don't pay someone to fix it - Do it yourself! watch this video and get the tips, tricks and confidence to take on this project.
If you have never replaced a fly screen before I would love to hear how you get on after watching this video, Best of Luck, Kent

Your daughter is lucky to have you, and now I am too thanks to your generous sharing- Thankyou 😊. It’s good to see an easier way to remove the window screens for cleaning too- instead of my usual wrangle struggle. Yay now my windows will always be clean 🎉❤😊.

Inspire DIY thx mate...I’ve done it before but what I learnt from you is to buy that plastic roller...will make it far easier....I used a screwdriver before and it took much longer than if I had the right equipment.

Great video - any tips on how to keep the mesh tight as you put the spline in? Or do you even have to? Thank you!

Hey Michelle, so long as you can keep the mesh square to the frame, the spline pulls the mesh taught as you roll it in, normally start on a long edge. Best of luck, Kent

Another kiwi in QLD eh mate! 😜 Is it GC or Bris you’ve also settled? It’s always one the other - and can tell in an instant the tree species in background 😜 Only problem is now mate, we are being outnumbered by these Melbourners coming up now - they’re ruining QLD to what it was!
