Syntac they spawn on Cristal isles and you can find them near the edge of desert area they are common there

Ark’s creature should be as terrifying as the addition’s mod in my opinion, it’s easy to kill high level rexes or brontos with almost any mid level medium size creature

I recently had a bug, where every creature would just spawn with no AI in pairs(same level) male and female, but no the same stats. They were also all above the level limit. Weird that you have got a similar bug with the basiliscs. Even though this was weird I like my level 700 blood crystal wyvern.

The method Syntac used to tame the basilisk was actually pretty creative. I don’t know if he came up with that himself, or got the idea from someone else, but it was cool. And I know the jerboa was inside a foundation, but I was still really surprised that the basilisk wasn’t able to bite it.

Boss rex army with a yuti buff is how I have been soloing the alpha hunt missions. The alphas enrage your giga even with a max saddles. They are definitely mini bosses

One thing you could do for the rexes is breed tek rexes and then later on in the cluster when you have tek you could change your tek rex lines into X rex lines using the S+ mutator. That way you can have both tek and x ones for more colour variations, without wasting tranqs on x ones. Although I can see all the offical peeps having a tantrum about you using the mutator.

Basilisks do spawn on Crystal Isles however they are not tamable as there are no regular rock drake or magmasaur eggs to feed them. If you play with the Crystal Isles dino extension mod it still won't work because those are crystal variants of the creatures. It does have Crystal Basilisks which you use the crystal drake eggs on, but the normal ones are there only to troll you.

Basilisk really do need to be able to breed also rock drakes, Karkinos & increase Deinonychus max level to match Wyverns since they are able to breed now.

You're definitely right of basilisks spawning in Abberration, Genesis: Pt.1, and Crystal Isles. They're alot more fair when it's on Crystal Isles and you can get high max leveled ones. Managed to tame a really good black and blue Basilisk and named it Mamba.

@@soulstealer167 Basilisk don’t spawn in Valguero. The Gamepedia says there’s no relocation of any spawns down in the Aberration in Val. But you need to use either Giga eggs or Wyvern eggs, it mentioned it in a recent or old patch note in whichever version. Glad getting Wyverns isn’t much of a hassle since you can still the eggs that way and depending of the levels.

Basilisk’s spawn on CI, you just can’t tame them because there are no rockdrakes or magmasaurs on the map. The map used to have rockdrakes on the map before it became official but like always, Wildcard scrapped it. Im not sure why they didn’t take the basilisk away. Oh and yeah admin spawning in rockdrakes in the rockdrake area in apotheosis (floating islands) after a while will make them spawn in eggs. So you either need to admin spawn rockdrakes, item transfer or own or play on a cluster server.

The easiest way is using a skiff, when the basilisk is beamed, it will still eat the eggs as long as the basilisk is near the egg. So, just lower the skiff near to the ground, drop the egg, done.
