Great show Amigo! Wonderful video cuts and commercials that brought a big smile to my face, not to mention the comics. Love the Tonto #2! I collect the series and that one has a great cover with beautiful interiors. Dells had the most vibrant colors that didn’t seem to fade over time like many publishers.❤

Another brilliant show Easy! I love the old Spag Westerns! Some of my faves are the My Name is Nobody trilogy and of course all of the Clint Eastwood joints! Some killer Western comics here! I don’t have a lot of Western books but the ones I have I really enjoy! Need to take another go down that rabbit hole! Peace Brother! The Easy Comic Reader Variety Show is becoming my favorite show to look forward to on the Tube! An episode focused on westerns? Hee-haw!!! And we're up to a great start with an ad for my favorite toys when I was a kid: Johnny West and the Best of the West line of cowboy action figures by Marx! I love that you managed to include books from all 4 biggest publisher of western comics in comic book history. * * * Dell mainly published licensed characters, tv series and movies. But they published tons of them (mostly in the 50's). And if you were lucky, you could sometimes get some beautiful Alex Toth or Russ Heath like you showed but also Gil Kane, John Buscema, Russ Manning and other great artists. * * * Marvel mostly published their westerns in the 50's and 60's, with the 70's being mostly reprints. But I was happy to see you shine the spotlight on the under appreciated Jack Keller who drew Kid Cold for almost 2 decades! That's more than any other artist on a single character at Marvel. * * * DC had some western presence in their line-up from the 50's to the 70's. With a few other projects in the Modern era. * * * But, Charlton was probably the publisher who put out the most westerns for the whole duration of their history. What I admire the most about Charlton is that they published genre comic book anthologies (western, war, romance, horror, etc.) even when it wasn't trendy. In the late 60's and 70's, when all other publishers were fading away westerns, Charlton still had at least 4 regular series: Billy the Kid, Cheyenne Kid, Texas Rangers in Action, Outlaws of the West, all series that ran a long time. Loved all the ads, Tom & Jerry cartoons (so funny!), and musical numbers that came with this episode. I was not familiar with String Beans but now I'll be on the look out for him!
